Currently the primary way to access Docs is from within Drive, and only the web (browser) method.
It would be great to integrate Docs directly into the Mail app. We already have Calendar there, why not add Docs?
Not quickly getting to Docs means I'm still choosing Google Docs every time simply because of convenience and speed. Not great reasons but it is what it is. I'm betting I'm not the only one.
