When a photo is deleted from Proton Drive, it is impossible to re-upload that photo through the app. If you contact support to have them "reset" your library, it will then work.

For example, If I have a photo on my phone, upload it to Proton Drive, remove it from Proton Drive, and then re-sync my Drive App, that photo will never be able to be re-uploaded again.
