Proton could be like a desktop (for PCs) and a Home Screen (for mobile devices). This "Desktop" is a file manager and a browser (automatic VPN).

Native (one click/tap) apps: Contacts, Email, Messenger, Notes, and Calendar. All seamlessly integrated.

No more need to keep swapping apps and environments. Inside the "Proton Desktop", the user can look up or save a document (PDF, MP3, MP4, MKV, etc...) either locally (his/her own computer/phone) or Proton Drive.

This Proton which I envision, performs like a universal package (Flatpak); i.e., although it sits on some OS, it is self-contained with all the dependencies and code to work stably, securely, and seamlessly.
