can you give us the link towards these other requests? They don't pop out when searching for "to-do list" in the forum and I also would love to have sth like this https://www.todoist.com/fr/task-management in my proton calendar. Currently it's quite a mess to deal with events that are done (have to either delete them or place them in a timing before now so that they stop popping on my calendar)

There are several posts regarding tasks/tasklists. Usingf the search function and upvoting those request would be more usefull then opening similar requests again and again.
