Option to change avatar
I wanted to suggest adding an option to customise or hide the default cat avatar. I'm not much of a cat person, so having the ability to change or turn it off entirely would be a great improvement.

This! I for one do like a mascot, but I really don't like cats. With 1.2 at least we can take out the cat puns better. But allowing customization of the mascot would be a great next step.
I guess I would go with an option to allow uploading a profile picture. Sure it won't move, but at least anyone could get whatever they like.
Even nicer would be a broad customization option between different species (animals/humans/robots/whatever) and options within those to customize. But I fear it might be a bit much to ask.

Yes! The cute kitten is a poor avatar for solid, reliable, secure, accurate information. Instead it suggests fun and limited attention span. The contrast with other Proton logos is striking and may be telegraphing Proton's own fears and reticense around AI.
