Accepting an event should be associated to the recipient's email
It is a bug, but the support said it's more like a feature.
Accepting an event invite associates the event with the default email address instead of the recipient's one.
- Assume you have X@protonmail.com and Y@mydomain.com addresses.
- You receive a calendar invite on Y@mydomain.com.
- If you accept, Proton Calendar accepts it as X@protonmail.com instead of Y@mydomain.com
At the moment, you have to manually go to Proton Calendar, edit the invite, associate it with Y@mydomain.com, save it, and accept the invite.
Of course, there are edge cases such as aliases, but that's the power of it.

Calendar sharing between paid and free account
Hi,
It would be interesting to be able to share your calendar bidirectionally with at least one free account.
For example, I have a paid account and my partner has a free account. We'd like to share our calendars without having to pay for a second account.
Or offer an attractive option for a one-year subscription and calendar sharing only.
Thank you
Sincerely

month display several lines Android
Hi,
On the Android (and Apple) application, when displaying months, is it possible to display appointments better?
For example, on several lines during the day, especially when there is only one event. See the example of the Etar application on Android.
Thank you very much
Sincerely

Add Swiss canton holiday calendar
Currently, you can already add public holidays for a whole country like Switzerland, but since the cantons have different public holidays, it would be nice to be able to select which canton to display in the list of countries.

Calendar view starting today
The week view currently shows the whole week with all past days visible.
Looking at the calendar, the past days are mostly useless, and you have to click through to the next week to see the next one.
For planning and previewing future events, it would be good to have today's day displayed first and then the following 3/5/7 (depending on user settings).

Fantastical Integration
Due to work needs, we cannot give up Google and Outlook. If your services are more easily accessible, this will encourage more users to join Proton Calendar.
Many Mac users will choose Fantastical. It is recommended to integrate your service into well-known calendar apps, such as Fantastical and Readdle Calendar.15 votes -
Customizable View
I would like to select certain calendars for a view and have it saved. For example, three of my calendars make up my schedule and I want those selected for a schedule view. Then I have three task based calendars for when I'm working and I would like to select those three for a tasks view. Then I could toggle back and forth between the different views depending on what I need to see and have the correct things selected with fewer clicks.

Time Blocking & Scheduling meetings
We should definitely have time blocking, as this is a big part of productivity. I still use iCal when I want to switch over to Proton Cal, but I cannot because I need to schedule a meeting that is connected to Calandly. Notion Calendar (formally Cron) has both features, which are so useful, but they only have the connection to Google, for which I made the decision to leave Google two years ago. Please go to Notion calendar and see the features they have that you guys can implement, but MAKE IT BETTER!!!!!!

Option to show sunrise, sunset and moon calendar
Depending on where you live in the world and the work you do then this function may be more or less important.
In gmail calendar it is easy to add these two calendars to your personal calendar:
1) a calendar that mark the sunrise and sunset time at the top of each day
2) a calendar that marks the new moon, first quarter moon, full moon and last quarter moon1 vote -

Option to move repeating weekend events to next business day
I would like it to be possible an option to move automatically events that are repeated on weekends to the next business day, since if a reminder such as a payment is made on Sunday it is easy to forget it on Monday that it is already possible to do it.

Prioritize Calendars
Give priorities to created calendars.
If i use the "month view", and have a calendar for all my working hours, one for birthdays, one for private events etc. it would be nice if i could give my work calendar a first prio, so its always shown at the top, then my private events and then birthdays. so the events dont get all mixed and jumping all over the place, when doing an overview of the month.1 vote -
Quick add event by holding down on date.
When using the "monthly view", it would be great to be able to hold down on a specific date, to quick add an event on that day. Instead of having to press the + and scroll through the dates.

Enable a way to identify a calendar containing events
I want to reassign and update/edit all the events that I brought over from my old Yahoo calendar. I THINK I have updated them all, but I am not 100% sure. How can I tell if that calendar is now empty (before I delete it)?

Yearly View
Personally it’s easier to navigate through months with a yearly view. For example if I have a trip planned in May 2025, I need to scroll through 14 months to view the details of the event I made.

Creating a new event on mobile by clicking and dragging on the calendar
Hi Proton team,
Due to the nature of mobile or tablet being touch screen, I usually find myself setting a calendar invite directly on the calendar at the time I want it using my finger to click and drag down. This would be a great feature to add.Right now it's possible to use the button to create a new event, but it always adds it to the day I'm viewing, and the time I'm creating the invite. E.g., if it's 8p on Jan 13th today, and I want to create an event on Feb 1st at 3p. It opens…

Add a dublicate button for calendar events on android
I'd like to dublicate existing calendar events on the android app and edit just a few parameters of the dublicated event. Currently this is only possible on the web app. On the android app I have to manually create new events every single time and enter all parameters again, which is quite annoying.
