More view options (day/week/month/year)
On Frequency in Proton Calendar item there is just every week/month/year. I have some typical situation, that I need action each 4 weeks (which isn't 1 month).
So it would be nice to add more settings for this Frequency something like:
- each: number
- day/week/month/year

This is a time saver for work. Also the possibility to search and to switch directl with a button between years!

My precise need is "show me 6 weeks, first week includes today, using the monthly view".

super important to be as flexible as possible with recurrence scheduling

It should be an overview like in the following picture.
The dates should be directly visible, not that you have to click on the date first.View for Mobile App.

Rejoyce, F (below comparing with Google Calendar) and OP, as this feature clearly exists, at least in the web app and the Android app.

I think Google Calendar does this relatively well — would love to see something like that in Proton Cal.

Agreed for more frequency options...
I work 12-hr rotating shifts and my schedule is based off a 6-week rotation. I would like to be able to create an "event" based off the entire 6-week rotation and then have that "event" repeat indefinitely. -

With irregularly recurring events would it be possible, maybe under an "irregular repeats" option, to open a table linked to an event where the times and dates of upcoming repeated events could all be entered in the same place at the same time - and ideally editted at a future time?
I've stopped using google Calendar for new events and will abandon it completely when Proton Calendar reaches a suitable point in it's development. Meanwhile, keep up the good work guys! -

I agree that Proton Calendar needs more frequency settings.
For example: Every third Tuesday of the month.
I noticed that when trying to set a New Event, it would not let me remove today's day (Thursday) when trying to set Tuesday as the recurring day. Even when I saved the event and tried to edit it, Thursday could not be removed. I use the Firefox browser (latest version) and Win10.
It makes it difficult to cut loose Google Calendar. I have to use code words in Google Calendar for appointments so they don't track me.

A. The one feature I need but have never found on any consumer calendar is -
A.1. the ability to schedule the same event information at irregular dates and times. -B. There are many, many such events in peoples lives. -
B.1. I envision that such could be accomplished by a calendar database component that could be accessed for copy and paste on a particular date with only the need to enter the time component for the new event. -C. While some might say that B.1. could be accomplished by just updating an event with a new date and time -
C.1 they overlook the fact that in doing so, it deletes the altered event and the history thereof. - C.1.a. History is very valuable information. -

Yeah, I need stuff on M/W/F and Tues/Thurs, and that has to be done manually at the moment. Would like to see a more robust repeat feature.

This is a must-have for shift-workers. Once this feature is implemented (and a mobile app), I'll switch over immediately.

Yes, needs a custom repeat feature.

Yes, custom frequency is needed. I have events that recur every two weeks. The Apple calendar has this feature, and I couldn't change over without it.

Need more options for frequency. Very nice about being able to set appointments in different time zones and the calendar converts to local time.

Absolutely agree. Have many snoozed emails to myself being used as reminders for unusual time frames. For example, some sim cards need a data ad-on bought every 28 days. Google calendar may support this time frame type of reminder but we are all here to get away from that. Should be simple to add a "completely" customizable frequency to the calendar reminders even if it is in periods of days. Hope you will consider this. So We can completely cut out google.

Yes. This is a must-have. The lacking frequency options is stopping me from switching. I would love to delete google calendar but there's no real alternative.
Also:
- I would need repeating events wich are on a different time. So i should be able to edit the time of one repeating event without changing the other events in that frequency. Usecase: i work in shifts, wich includes 'reserves' (which are frequent, but are later specified on a time)
- End repeating events after n events or after a certain date.
- deleting a repeating event should ask if i would wan't to delete the next events or just this one
- things like 'every last friday of the month' is very usefull (Outlook has this) -
