Sync Calender & Contacts beween Protonmail and Nextcloud
I am a dedicated Nexcloud user (encrypted, 2FA secured & setup on my own private VPS) and I am using Nextcloud to sync contacts and calender between different devices and clients: Android, Linux, MacOs, Thunderbird. It would be very nice if there was a way to setup sync between my Nextcloud and my Protonmail account as well. Until this can happen I will not use the Protonmail calender (too much effort).
Only because it is necessary I manually update my contacts between my Protonmail account and my Nextcloud. This is a bit of a hassle though...

I would find this a vital feature for my workflow.
As I only rely on Proton for its mail service (and not for its other products) in order to keep most of my data on my server, having the ability to access my Nextcloud Contacts when writing a mail on ProtonMail and automatically finding the invitations I receive in my Inbox in Nextcloud would be an incredible game changer.
Obviously, these features don't need to be Nextcloud-specific, it would be sufficient to have some kind of integration via DAV. -

It sounds like non-privacy friendly, as it’s against the privacy by default core value.
NextCloud doesn’t encrypt user’s data, so you lose Proton’s privacy here. -

Especially the sync of the contacts would be nice! Since the new Protonmail also shows contact-pictures in the inbox, the sync would be awesome (otherwise you have to upload each picture on your own)

I am currently struggling with this, currently just having to export/import.

I keep my contacts on a NextCloud-based CardDAV server. I would like to be able to "hook" my ProtonMail contacts to the CardDAV server so I don't have to do an export-from-carddav/import-into-protonmail cycle whenever I add/modify/delete a contact on the CardDav, or the reverse when I do the same in ProtonMail.
