Show and book available appointments (like Calendly)
The functionality of Calendly and others similar to it has been a godsend to my business and daily operations. Effectively, my Calendly account is tied to my Google Calendar and allows for users I share my public Calendly link with the opportunity to schedule a preset block of time with me on my public Calendar. This is automattically added to my "private" calendar on Google (lol). The users cannot see any details on my calendar, just the slots that are available to meet with me, whether in person or remote, with options I preselect through a questionaire they fill out.
Having a feature like this within ProtonCalendar/Mail would be INCREDIBLE and very useful for a lot of people.

I just started my own business and I absolutely need this. I hate that I'm considering having to move one of my email accounts to Google mail/cal and then subscribing to that calendar in proton just to have this feature...

I really, REALLY don't want to return to Google, but the lack of a calendar booking facility is fast becoming a show-stopper.

This is basically a go/no-go feature for business use

YES PLEASE! This would make me stick with Proton for sure. Currently considering other options that include Calendar booking integrated within it. Really want to avoid big brother Google, however. But their all-in-one service for this is tempting.

Skiff and Cal.com built an integration in July. You're falling behind.

This is absolutely necessary if I want to purchase the Business account for Proton products. Currently, I am considering that I must instead purchase Google because of its easy integrations.
Please please upgrade this feature! Can't believe it's been 3 years since this has been suggested. -

Proton Calendar has consistently been a trusted tool for managing my time. However, there's one feature that could truly elevate this platform to a new level: the incorporation of a scheduling function similar to Calendly.
The practicality of Calendly-like apps is undeniable, not just for businesses, but also for individual users. The functionality offered by these platforms has revolutionized the ease with which we schedule our appointments, and having this functionality within Proton Calendar could have profound implications for our productivity and time management.
The ability to allow external parties to book preset blocks of time on a public calendar—without revealing private details—would greatly streamline the scheduling process. Users could choose slots that work for them, removing the tedious back-and-forth that usually accompanies the scheduling of a meeting.
I strongly believe that adding this feature would not only make life easier for existing users, but also attract new users seeking a comprehensive, user-friendly scheduling solution. Please consider this feature as a priority to bring to life for the benefit of your user community!

It's not only important for a business. I used Calendly for some time and I found it so far the best solution to find fast an appointment time/date. I don't have to share my calendar, I just make a template, when I have time, send them the link and they can pick any of the open spots and I will get informed about it, as soon they pick it.
Considering, you literally do this with the Proton Drive sharing link already, it wouldn't be much of a problem to integrating this for the calendar as well. On top, you can always give us the option to decide how long the link stays active and/or set a password.
It would certainly improve scheduling a ton and people receiving the link, wouldn't need a Proton account to be able to use it.
And if you consider to just use the calender itself, sharing what is in it, then give us the option to define a timeframe and which schedules in the calendar would be shared. My first example is better, though, since I can make a complete new template (which we should be able to save) unrelated to my existing calendar infos for the 3rd party.

This is important for businesses of any size, and I think a big deterrent for new Proton business users. You cannot underestimate the importance of effective sales funnels/leads, and services like Calendly do exactly that. Without a comparable service, any IT team will be shut down by sales when trying to move to Proton

Desperately need this - note integration with video conferencing would be super useful here. Cal.com is open source - so plenty of inspiration there.

This is a really needed feature, especially allowing to select which calendars will be showing into the that public view as free/available time blocks.

Second this. Unless I can seamlessly two-way sync between proton and Google calendar, integrate with calendly, or proton builds their own, this is a show stopper for using or recommending as a true business email solution.

This would be very helpful indeed. Calendly integrates with MS and Google calendars, would be great to integrate with Proton too. As I understand it, it can't read details of appointments or invitees, it only shows available blocks and allows people to book them. Or if there is a sound reason not to integrate, Proton Calendar should have the option for us to do this natively (obviously an option as not everyone will want to share their availability info).

As a solopreneur using Proton Mail and Proton Calendar, I find it really challenging not be able to integrate a Calendly/Acuity account to manage online booking.

I really need this capability before I can effectively use Proton Calendar. I have a visionary membership and feel frustrated that this is not yet possible for years.
Any updates? -

I've purchased the proton visionary membership and really can't use the calendar because I need a way of automatically creating appointment from available time slots. Is there any app that connects to proton that provides this capability? If not, do you know if Proton will be implementing a way to do this?
