Duplicate event
Would be nice to have an option to duplicate an existing event with small changes.
Use case: irregularly recurring events that need to be scheduled one at a time(e.g. barber, massage, dentist visits)
Duplicating an event is possible from the web app. Coming soon to other platforms.

Duplicating calendar events is a huge time saver for me. I chose to move my calendar to Proton only after I was sure that this feature was added, and I was disappointed to discover it was only added to the web app. I will have to find another secure calendar unless this feature comes to the Android/mobile apps soon

I would like to add a more specific detail to how this experience should work.
Apple Calendar, and many design-oriented apps like Sketch, Figma, Excalidraw etc.) allow a user to copy an object by option+dragging an event on MacOS. This is incredibly useful and I hope that this hotkey is included. -

Thank you - would be occasionally useful to me.
More important would be, to be able to use Calendar in Landscape on my tablet. -

Glad this is on the web app!

Good to know, thank you. It took you 3.5 years to deploy it - amazing.
What about Search on Android? -

This seems like a small addition but it's a huge time saver. Please add this to the mobile apps!

Now that finally colors of the events can be chosen and night shift can be correctly visualized this feature is the missing part to complete 100% migration from Digical

To streamline using calendar, duplication of event is a must expectedly! Copy and paste an event at a day in week view, or paste to multiple days in calendar month view.

I would prefer to have a list of templated events when clicking on a date. For example, clicking on April 12 would show a list of templates to insert like Doctor, Dentist, Vacation, etc. That way I can control what's in the template (a separate view to create and edit templates) and then just need to click the date to add the event.

This feature is a game changer, now the usability of the callendar for recurring events that doesn`t has the same schedule is a big pain.

More than 3 years later and the Android app doesn't support yet the simple duplicate feature...!

Please add this feature to iOS. And as mentioned below, Shortcuts for copy and paste would be really appreciated, either alt-drag as other suggested or ctrl+c / ctrl+v on Web browser.

In Proton Calendar in Android we cannot copy an existing event as we can from the web browser. Some recurring events like doctor's appointments, friends get-togethers and others may contain a good deal of information. The ability to make a copy of that existing event and paste it to a new time and date would be extremely useful.

I use this functionality all the time. It would be a great improvement to the UX.

Events can be duplicated on the web, but not in the Android client. this is quite important. I can't make duplicate events while out and about.

As with other calendars I use, I just start typing the title of the similar event e.g., blood test, and the app suggests the details (title, location, travel time (another missing feature), etc.) from a previous entry with the same title to create a duplicate. I can then amend the time and date as required for the new event. A button could also be added to an existing event to "create duplicate" (different people do things in different ways).
This is one of a number of features that is currently preventing me from switching to use Proton Calendar.
