Edit single instance of a recurring event
There appears to be no way to edit a single instance of a recurring event. So if the 2nd item needs to be shifted by 15 minutes or location changes, that change will affect entire series. Please add the ability to edit either a single event... or the entire series.

As of March 2024, this feature is available on the web. Coming soon to other apps.

It could be great to delete only one event of a series that a colleague share with us (because we don't need to be present at every event, or we are OFF this day for example).
I use PM Calendar for professional and personal purpose, so it's weird to see an event for a professional meeting when I am on holidays

This feature is single-handedly blocking me from migrating my service business from GCal to PCal. My clients need me to accommodate their standing appointments at random, and the changes have to be reflected on both our calendars.

Agree. Often have a need to modify an event in a recurring series.

I would agree with this and all of the associated comments, I've started to use it to remind clients of appointments and this would be very helpful to have an ability to update or delete one episode in a recurring series

In ProtonCalendar (beta), it is currently not possible to delete or reschedule a single event in a series. Instead, attempting to delete will do so against the whole series.

In the calendar: After I have set up a recurring event, there are situations when i need to delete just one instance from the calendar. For instance, if I have weekly meetings, but will not be able to attend for just one specific week, then I would like the option to delete that instance, without deleting all the other recurrences. See google calendar to see how they implemented this.
There should also be an option to delete all instances of the recurrence from a certain date forward, but to keep past recurrences of that event on the calendar, for historical reference purposes.

Suggest that PM consolidate similar feature requests - entire vote tally would be higher. General request is the flexibility to edit and manage recurring calendar entries - series. We should be able to manage:
• individual entries in a series / recurring event, OR
• entire series / recurring event , OR
• entire series / recurring event, from <this point> forward.Given this functionality, we would need some visual clues in the calendar:
• calendar entry is a SERIES (or not)
• calendar entry is a MODIFIED entry in a series
• calendar entry indicates a CHANGE to series from <this point> forward. -

I am also interested in this. I want to change the time of just one reoccurring event, not all of them in the series.

It would be nice to be able to only edit one event in a series in ProtonCalendar. I'm talking about the events that are set to repeat. I wanted to add a description to one of them, not every one of them, but there is no other choice than to save the description for all recurring events.

As a corollary to this, I would like to be able to modify one event in a recurring series without affecting the settings for others in that series. For example, change the color, change the start-end times, change the title, change the notification settings.

And the ability to delete all "future" events without deleting the entire history

When I schedule reoccurring events in Calendar, I am only provided the option to delete the whole series of events. This means that if one event gets cancelled, I have to delete the whole series or just keep the event on my Calendar even though it has been cancelled.

Do not over complicate the user interface with calendars and folders and avatars etc. On other sites this makes them look trashy and a pain to the eyes. So far you have it spot on. Looking forward to import of emails and sync with Thunderbird client.
