Create task in Proton Calendar
I would like to create a task in Proton Calendar. It's like an event but can be checked.
Just like Google Calendar.
With notification, and this notification could check the task.

For me the biggest value of Tasks is daily carryover to "Today" until checked/deleted.

Agreed, super useful to stop using the Apple reminders

I definitely need a replacement for Google tasks and Keep, and I hope that Proton can come up with something that will work similarly to these.

I need this to use Proton Calendar as my only calendar.

This is much needed along with the ability to convert between task/note/reminder and event. Sometimes you just wan a reminder on a day, but not show you as busy for a given time and sometimes you need to switch/convert between.
I came across this need recently, where my shift got cancelled but I don't want to delete the event as I still want it noted on my calendar. So, I could edit the event append a note (eg "cancelled" or "on-call") and convert to a task/reminder/note so it stays on the calendar but does not take up a "time slot" or show as "busy".
Please also include ability to have subtasks and reoccurring tasks.

This would be huge! this is the biggest thing that is preventing me from switching fully over.

Would also like to see, something with same features like Microsoft To Do

Having some todo list style capability would be awesome as well. It could also work in Pass notes, but a checklist/todo is probably better suited to a reminder/calendar than a secure note.

@ Christopher Bates: it is not marked as planned, just as "checked/considered".

This is a duplicate of an older request that has more votes and is marked as "planned",

Yes! It's like in Fantastical. On iOS you can choose which task list you want to use. Really appreciate this option in Proton Calendar so I can move out from Fantastical.
