Schedule recurring/repeating events by the 'third Wednesday of the month' or 'last day of month'
Sometimes I need to schedule something based on the day of the week and the number of weeks in the month. In other words, if I have something that occurs on the "third Wednesday of every month," I can't schedule it to happen monthly since the number of weeks in a month varies. There is currently no option for this, and I've had to resort to manually calendaring these events individually.

Same as https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932842-proton-calendar/suggestions/42699389-last-day-of-the-month ...would be great to port over the votes and close this duplicate.
Not sure if this is reviewed at all, because I don't see any feedback from the developers in any ticket.

One way to temporarily deal with this would be to schedule the event for the first of the month but have a reminder for the day before.

There are people that have regular events happening on the 1st / 15th / last day of the month, or the last business day of the month.
I have to manually add 12 different events and set them to repeat yearly, when it would be much easier to create 1 event and have it set to repeat last day of each month.

If you currently use ToDoist for your task management, I would make tasks there and just watch the calendar within the Proton Calendar. Their recurring feature is very helpful and I already use the app for ToDos, so it's a win-win. If you have some tasks that go on forever, it is very easy to create tasks. For me, I currently have street cleaning reminders. Hope this helps!

There needs to be an option to set certain repeating days of week and week of month, example; I have meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of every month as well as a meeting on the fourth Monday of every other month. I have no way of saving these in Proton calendar so I have to use Google calendar to save these dates. I am trying not to use Google for anything anymore but because of this I still have to.

I just noticed this - set up a recurring event for 30th of the month but realised it skipped February!

Good example of this are Mother's day and Father's day, which are yearly on the third Sunday of May/June

I'd like to be able to plan a recurring event (Father's day) yearly on every third Sunday of June. This is currently not possible.

This is a standard feature on most calendar apps, and the lack of this has me using other apps. I would much rather use Proton.

I agree we need a full-fledged additional function asd described in the original idea plus the other comments.
(I'm just afraid that nothing is going to happen with this, because the other comments are from 2021 and apparently nothing has been done with them yet. Too bad!)

improving ProtonMail with features like provided by Google Calendar (i.e. also coloring of events) would be a major progress.

To add an example : I would like to plan the monthly point every last day of month, or better, every last opened day of the month (every wednesday or saturday for example). In my case, I wanted to plan it every 30 of months, but february doesn't have 30 days, so I have to put it on the 28, or to create two events : 1 for normal months, 1 for every february.

We do payroll on the last day of each month. We need a way to set up a recurring reminder.

Simple enough - I have an event IRL which occurs only on the first Wednesday and last Wednesday, forever.
Currently I can schedule events for the first Wednesday of the month, but seemingly not the last. An update to add the last week of the month to the repeat options would be great.
Thank you.

I would like to have reminders for the same event on multiple days of the week/month. An example is I have standup meetings every Monday and Thursday morning at 9:00 AM -- I would like to have one "event" for these since it's the same meeting, just on two days.
Or garbage pickup is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, and I would prefer to have just one "event" that's M/W/F every week.
Or there's a farmer's market on the first and third Saturday of every month -- again, same event, but multiple predictable times.
