Calendar app: display multiple-day events as one long entry instead of small entries in each day
There is a difference in UI in the web version of calendar and in the app (iOS).
When I create an event that lasts several days, in the web I see the event as one entry spread across all days. This is comfortable for the eye and I can see the full name of the event.
But in the app the same event is shown as separate small events in each day-cell. This feels quite heavy for the eye and since you also have quite narrow spaces in the cells in general (compared to Google Cal) - the name of the event is not displayed in full. So I have let's say 6 cells full of some small entries titled "Eve....", "Eve....", "Eve....", "Eve....", "Eve....", "Eve....".
This is really user unfriendly and would be cool if we had consistency in the web and the app versions.

Completely agree. If an event has a defined start and end date, it would be nice to diplay it as a event spanning exactly that time frame.
For all day events an option whether to display it on top in the "all day area" or as a day-filling event would be nice. -

I don't have an iOS device, so I don't know how it's shown on them, but on Android and Web, I lack the display of multiple-day events with start and end times as events in the daily timeline.
Actually, if I have an event that starts at 6pm on Friday until 10am on Saturday, the event is shown over the two days in the "all day events" area, at the top of the calendar and I don't see the start and end time of the event, which is very confusing and leads me to miss such events.
It actually prevents me to use the Proton calendar, because I cannot afford to miss multiple-day events/meetings

I hope multi-day events are displayed as continuous long bars in the weekly view, similar to how they appear in the monthly view, instead of showing short bars at the top each day. This only occurs on the smartphone app, while the web and desktop versions already display how I prefer.

It is very hard to see an overview of my day since I have to open the events. For example I have recurring events from 10PM to 2AM and that also shows up as a small bubble instead of properly as in Google Calendar
