Task/ To-Do List

Agree, it's the main reason I cannot move away from Informant. The features in Proton Calendar are just not there without losing functionality like to ToDo appearing in my agenda view of my calendar that I am used to. I would add Notes functionality to this as well

Tasks, To-Dos, and Reminders please! along the lines of Tasks.org.
With open protocols and multiple sync options like DAVx⁵, CalDAV, EteSync, or DecSync CC -

I would definitly die for such a simple solution as Bullet Journal/Bullet list like Workflowy which is definitely a theft at it's prices...
Including it in your offers would be Ace!

Build out your own To-Do / Task app instead of trying to integrate with Todoist or any other non e2ee apps. The biggest reason people migrate over to services like Proton is to protect our data from privacy abusing big tech. Todoist can see everything you do! So having in-house e2ee task / to-do app that integrates with calendar will see a massive wave of new users subscrive to Proton.. dont forget to give users color options in (free) calendar app. Skiff already offers this so get smart Proton !! Build your user base further by offering the best value !!

To fully de-g00gle myself this would be one of the last things. In fact I use "Todoist App" and I would love an integration with Proton Calendar. I prefer to use a professional app for task management and having it synced to Proton platform.
As @ohoh mentioned markdown is the gateway to cross-platform and easy actions management.

I'm still not a fan of Proton spreading itself thin with all these different services, but if you must do it. Just make it easy to use it in a browser and support markdown, so we can use it on a desktop right away.

This is super-useful.
Also, the task/todo list has to allow sharing read/write with other proton users, and read only with other email addresses (better if write was allowed, but not a requirement) -

This is the last feature I require to be completely "free" from Google.

Agree with the comments below! This is a high priority! Already switched from Google to Proton and this is one of the key things missing!

Proton Task would be very interesting to me, since I would then be able to switch from Google Calendar/Tasks to full Proton.

Yes, please... I'm migrating from Gmail to Proton, would LOVE to be able to use the calendar app. But I use Google Tasks/Keep recurring notes for reminders heavily. Very disappointing to see that Keep/Tasks are specifically excluded from calendar imports.

This is a must have for the Proton suite! However this should have enough features to be really useful and usable. It should probably be inspired by existing tools like Microsoft Todo or Vikunja (Open source).
Todo list and task application are usually containing very sensitive information about private or professional life and a privacy focused solution will be a really great addition to Proton. -

This would be wonderful! I was just about to make the suggestion tonight and saw that it's already under review. If need be, it can be limited on the free version with more options available with purchased plans. I have a business plan and it would help me immensely.

A secure Proton to-do would be great.
Any other to-do app is a perfect way of snooping. If wanting to analyze someones life, look at their to-do lists. -

To all the people talking about how happy they are with todoist: if you are sincere commenters (and not just trollers or advertisers), I think you're totally missing Proton's point. Proton doesn't intend to and is not expected to provide a better ToDo, email or calendar app. They intend/are expected to provide good apps that ENCRYPT USER DATA (client-side). Since Todoist doesn't do so, a Proton ToDo would not be a competitor since it would just bring something that many value while Todoist doesn't even try to do it.

I've talked about shadow people/entities several times Overplugged https://overplugged.org/when-to-upgrade-a-motherboard/ here and I have never seen a satisfactory picture or film capture of one before now.
