Would be super nice if it were integrated with Calendar

The daily view of proton calendar should have a split screen, with the left side being an agenda of all the items of the day, and the right side being the hourly view. Also would like to suggest a todo list for protonmail.

I would love to see to have a product such as Todoist (I am using it), or a bridge that allows us to interact with Todoist and Proton Calendar.

I want to get away from surveillance. There are no really good to do lists. Microsoft acquired Wunderlist. Would be nice if its integrated into the android app.

If you could design it similar to the Google task list that would be great

As a suite of tools to be productive and keep track of life, having a TASK MANAGER would be helpful. Maybe it can be incorporated into the CALENDAR APP or maybe it can be a standalone app. But having somewhere to integrate task lists into the suite of Proton tools would be great. I am trying to get away from Google and other 3rd party tools and stay with one suite/company of software.

In Google Calendar (app and web), you press the "plus" sign to make a new calendar event. Then you choose between new Activity, Reminder or Task.
A Task presents a notification upon the chosen time, and you mark it as "Done" to archive it. An active task is shown as an event in the calendar, and appears greyed out after marked as done.
My suggestion is to carbon copy this feature into the Proton Calendar.

A Reminder presents a notification upon the chosen time, and you mark it as "Done" to archive it. An active reminder is shown as an event in the calendar, and appears greyed out after marked as done.
My suggestion is to carbon copy this feature into the Proton Calendar. Why? Because the reminders feature in Google Calendar works great, they appears as "event instants" and is easier/ more lightweight to enter than an activity.

GREAT Idea! I too would like a ToDo list app... have it work with Proton Calendar so tasks can be scheduled as on option. I use Todoist and would love to see something like this within Proton!

Todo-Lists contain a ton of really personal informations (from shopping lists to confidential working tasks) and there is no real alternative for the non-tech users.
Todoist is a good example for a great functional impelmentation. But there are other cool open source projects like nextcloud tasks - which offers an integration in the calendar. But in my opinion they are way to complicated to setup for a non-tech user...
I hope you can implement this :)
Best wishes.

Add a task list/planning tool to the calendar. It can be used for reminders and such.

I too am avoiding Google when I can. Impossible it appears.
I need a to do list not for teams. Single user, can sync between phone and computer. Normal repeat times but also oddball days like every third or fourth day, any random day we choose. Have tried many, all fail in some way. Definitely negative on team versions as that clutters, complicates.

For me this ToDo functionality is obvious when I think about calendar app.
Please connect todo func. with calendar and add to reminder options to choose a specific date.

This would be really great. Second all the comments on reminders.
If it could integrate with protonmail and proton calendar so that some of the useful features of (ughhh) outlook like right-click drag & drop email to create a task or a calendar appointment from the email that would be amazing!
