Proton Tasks / To-Do List
Task/ To-Do List

Microsoft, Google and Apple have separate apps for tasks/to-do lists and I feel like this is the way to go for Proton as well. Add yet another app to the portfolio - Proton Tasks, Proton To-Do, Proton Reminders or something along that line.

Yes please. Use case: As a person with ADHD, an integrated task and reminder feature would be incredibly welcome. This is helpful for creating a centralized experience across work and personal. Notes would a bonus and a task list that would allow a bit more detail than just the task title.

Is it possible for proton calendar to include a list of daily tasks in the same calendar?
I think it would simplify the daily work and unify in a single application the daily activities with and without schedule.----------
Es posible que proton calendar incluya una lista de tareas diarias en el mismo calendario?
Creo que seria simplificar el trabajo diario y unificar en una sola aplicación las actividades diarias con y sin horario. -

it can hook into calendar and mail perhaps, but what im mainly looking for is a private, and nicely designed app to replace microsoft todo, with tasks that have subtasks, reminders and due dates and can be set to repeat at some interval

I would love to have a Proton "to-do" or "task" App.
I don't know if this can be integrated with Calendar or needs to be stand-alone... But the current "to do" or "task" apps all feed my information to their systems and the cloud so they can read my daily tasks, project plans, and schedule. For me, this needs more privacy than calendar events.
Would also love the feature that tasks can be pulled into my calendar and/or my calendar can feed my tasks for the day. Make it really easy to set up the day/week /month.

This is the only thing keeping me stuck to the big G. Mail, Calendar, Tasks are the triumvirate.

This or reminders in Calendar would meet my needs.

I really want this feature. I really miss it from Google Calendar. I need to be able to set simple reminders, with notifications when they are due. I also need reoccurrence features. As a software dev, this seems like it should be a pretty easy feature to build on top of the existing events in Proton Calendar.

Agree, it's the main reason I cannot move away from Informant. The features in Proton Calendar are just not there without losing functionality like to ToDo appearing in my agenda view of my calendar that I am used to. I would add Notes functionality to this as well

Tasks, To-Dos, and Reminders please! along the lines of Tasks.org.
With open protocols and multiple sync options like DAVx⁵, CalDAV, EteSync, or DecSync CC -

I would definitly die for such a simple solution as Bullet Journal/Bullet list like Workflowy which is definitely a theft at it's prices...
Including it in your offers would be Ace!

Build out your own To-Do / Task app instead of trying to integrate with Todoist or any other non e2ee apps. The biggest reason people migrate over to services like Proton is to protect our data from privacy abusing big tech. Todoist can see everything you do! So having in-house e2ee task / to-do app that integrates with calendar will see a massive wave of new users subscrive to Proton.. dont forget to give users color options in (free) calendar app. Skiff already offers this so get smart Proton !! Build your user base further by offering the best value !!

To fully de-g00gle myself this would be one of the last things. In fact I use "Todoist App" and I would love an integration with Proton Calendar. I prefer to use a professional app for task management and having it synced to Proton platform.
As @ohoh mentioned markdown is the gateway to cross-platform and easy actions management.

This is super-useful.
Also, the task/todo list has to allow sharing read/write with other proton users, and read only with other email addresses (better if write was allowed, but not a requirement)
