Task/ To-Do List

The long, long delay in implementing a core feature of any calendar app like this is making it very frustrating to try and move over to Proton completely.

This is a really important feature that deserves more attention.

The last feature that will let me completely ditch my gmail account. I can look at individual reminder apps, but what a hassle! This should be part of any calendar app.

a must-have feature still unavailable in Proton.

A simple checklist of "Tasks" as an additional option for the right-most panel in Proton Mail would suffice.

Agreed, it cannot be called a "suite" without having one. At this point, it is unacceptable.

This seems a basic “must have” for a business calendar. The calendar is useless to me without tasks.

Simple To-Do-list where you can sort the tasks by importance

I am getting a bit annoyed having to set 0 minute events. I would love a reminder function

As a business user of Proton Calendar it's hard to support development of a new feature like tasks/todos when basic Calendar features are still missing, like:
Edit instance of a Recurring Event
https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932842-proton-calendar/suggestions/43452336-edit-single-instance-of-a-recurring-eventand
Create Calendar Event from Email
https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932842-proton-calendar/suggestions/45812551-create-calendar-event-from-emailIf I was working for Proton and thinking strategically, I'd want to be going after the business/enterprise market as well as being the privacy-focused Gmail replacement for individual users.
Without basic features like the above, adding tasks/todos right now is not going to help IMHO. To me, Calendar just simply does not seem feature complete enough yet for serious business use (or personal use if you rely a lot on your Calendar).
I note that there are a lot of people in the comments saying that Tasks are "critical" for them to be able to move away from Outlook/Gmail etc. I suggest that only when those people actually migrate away from their existing calendar system will they discover other things like the above that are missing. These small details are equally as critical for adoption but far less obvious until you actually start trying to use it. I hope the Proton team take this into account when assessing which features to work on.

This would be a very welcome feature.
I work a lot with MS Teams and especially with the Planner app.
Here I'm able to set start, due date, priority, order them in different buckets and add files and comments.

And even more on the horizon: Tasks, search, and offline mode
To support much-requested features like tasks, search capabilities, and offline access, we’ve started work on our next generation of Proton Calendar apps for iOS and Android, which we aim to release toward the end of 2025. In order to avoid duplicating effort, we have been building new features directly into the new app so we can bring you the new app faster
Building on this new platform will enable us to deliver these and other highly requested features more quickly and with improved performance.

Yes please - this would be so helpful, especially integrated into the calendar!

Also having the ability to dynamically tag or group different tasks like “urgent” or “to do this month” or “project xyz” etc beyond just having lists / categories etc.
Not a dealbreaker but would be nice.
