As of March 2024, this feature is available on the web. Coming soon to other apps.

I've migrated both my personal and business calendars to Proton but have found certain basic missing features like this which make it untenable to use for much longer if this is not solved. (I have a paid Visionary plan)

An error occurred while saving the comment C commentedThere is a really strong reason why the Proton team should bump this further up the priority list. It's because whenever I have to apologise to my friends and colleagues that "my calendar is broken", it's an opportunity for them to learn that Proton Calendar is not very good.
Even if that's not true - that's the impression everyone is going to get.

Introducing Docs in Proton Drive – collaborative document editing that’s actually private: https://proton.me/blog/docs-proton-drive
With Docs you can:
- Write with privacy — Create and edit documents within Proton Drive, knowing your contents are only accessible to you and those you choose to share with.
- Share and invite anyone — Invite other users to view or edit your documents with a single click.
- Collaborate in real-time — Changes are reflected immediately, ensuring every contributor always sees the most up-to-date version.
- View cursors and presence indicators — See who else is viewing or editing the document, enhancing teamwork and communication.
- Leave comments and replies — Add comments to share feedback without editing the document. Comments are visible to all collaborators, keeping everyone in the loop.
- Import and export with ease — You can upload .docx documents, edit them, and download in various formats like .docx, .txt, .md, and HTML.
An error occurred while saving the comment C commentedI agree that this would be great, BUT Proton Docs (IMHO) would be a new product and I worry that Proton have already spread their resources very thin with the existing products. Calendar and Drive are still missing core features and (at least on iOS) updates are coming too slowly from my perspective as a long time paying customer.
Personally I do not think that Proton should introduce any additional products until the existing suite has been polished further. I have not been able to move from Tresorit to Drive yet and after migrating my calendars to Proton, I'm quite close to migrating them away again due to missing basic features.
So Proton Docs - yes, would be great, but more investment and focus needed on existing products first.

Yeah this isn't fixed AT ALL for me. See @Kevin's comment.
This is my single most frustrating Proton issue right now (and there's a few others). It is really incredibly frustrating that something like this can exist for so long. Even more frustrating that it's marked as "available on the web" when as far as I - and many others - can tell, it absolutely isn't.
I am not convinced the Proton team understand what this issue is.
