Modify single event in recurring series *when there are other participants*
Currently, in Calendar Beta, I have a recurring series that includes 1 other confirmed participant. If I want to modify one event in this series, the change has to be applied to all events in the series. I am aware that this problem has been resolved for recurring events that do not have other participants. Please make it so that the modification of a series is always the same, whether or not there are participants.

I also agree here! Really hope they can get around to fixing this, as they already have this functionality for ones with no other participants.

I love proton so far but this is the single issue holding me back from switching

This is similar to another posted issue: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932842-proton-calendar/suggestions/46433014-modify-single-event-in-recurring-series-when-ther
But my specific issue is that I consistently need to change a recurring event that has participants but I need to do it as "This event and all events moving forward" rather than "all events" or just "this event". It drives me crazy/ I finally figured out that I have to delete the participant and then edit the event and then add the participant back. It's a way to do it, but is not great when I am having to send multiple emails to clients every time we change our meeting time. Which then also goes into even when I have to change it just once, it doesn't always work, I can't do it in the app, I have to open proton calendar on my browser, and every once in a while it has just deleted the whole event (though I am willing to admit that I may have done something weird but no idea what it could have been??)
Thanks!

There is a really strong reason why the Proton team should bump this further up the priority list. It's because whenever I have to apologise to my friends and colleagues that "my calendar is broken", it's an opportunity for them to learn that Proton Calendar is not very good.
Even if that's not true - that's the impression everyone is going to get.

I found another quirk yesterday—when I am an invitee on a recurring series, if the sender cancels an instance, there's no way accept that cancellation and get the event off my own calendar.
Though at first the event displays struck through when the sender pushes out a cancellation, when I went into the event to 'accept' the cancellation and get it off my calendar, Proton instead seemed to step *backwards*, removing the strike through from the event so it looks like just a normal calendar event again.
To remember the event is cancelled I had to add a second event in the same slot that says "NO [event name], CANCELLLED".
This is baseline calendar app functionality, and needs to get prioritized and sorted soon else I can't keep using the product and living with limitations that simply should've been fixed from the start.

Yes, I want to be able to decline or delete a single event within a recurring series of events. Not having this feature has been an issue for me.

PLEASE - we really need this feature for our remote team. it makes it so hard to flexibly react to changes in our schedules. it is very frustrating, without the option to modify a single event in a recurring series, we have to manually try to let everyone know that todays meeting is moved to tomorrow and send out an additional meeting for tomorrow, while the slot for today apprears as booked when it is now actually free. very frustrating with remote teams that are hard to reach

This is very painful to not have. Trying to use Proton Family and we have to modify single instances of things all the time. Creates massive confusion not having this.
