Another case that's hopefully implied by the general "Edit single instance of a recurring event" story, but being specific so it doesn't get missed:
Decline a single instance of a recurring event from an external sender: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932842-proton-calendar/suggestions/48933599-decline-a-single-instance-of-a-recurring-event-fro

Want to be clear: This *needs* to handle editing single instances of a recurring event *with other participants*.
Hopefully obvious that this is an implied user story being asked for, but commenting to make it explicit.

I found another quirk yesterday—when I am an invitee on a recurring series, if the sender cancels an instance, there's no way accept that cancellation and get the event off my own calendar.
Though at first the event displays struck through when the sender pushes out a cancellation, when I went into the event to 'accept' the cancellation and get it off my calendar, Proton instead seemed to step *backwards*, removing the strike through from the event so it looks like just a normal calendar event again.
To remember the event is cancelled I had to add a second event in the same slot that says "NO [event name], CANCELLLED".
This is baseline calendar app functionality, and needs to get prioritized and sorted soon else I can't keep using the product and living with limitations that simply should've been fixed from the start.

More would be helpful here.
Specifically, in the MacOS desktop app, a way to switch between the mail and calendar modes would be really nice.
I use Command + 1/2 frequently in Outlook at work and it's quite convenient. It could be some other key combo, but I'd be glad to see *any* option exist.

Proton team, any update whatsoever about where this sits on a priority list?
I would so much rather see the products you claim to offer already be more fully functional (e.g. proper handling of recurring events with participants, iPad Calendar app) before introducing more half-baked products that aren't of interest introduced (crypto wallet something buzzwordy, AI doc something buzzwordy, etc.).
