Support for ISO 8601 date formats (YYYY-MM-DD)
- have an option to display dates in a sane, superior, internationally standardized format...
- allow users to enter dates like "2024-05-08" when creating an event, instead of having to type "May 08, 2024" which is an annoying hindrance.
- bonus points if you let me paste "2024-05-08T14:45" and it update the time field too.

The only way to sort dates is YYYYMMDD. I use it always.

There is nothing “sane, superior” about the year being the first thing you see when ascertaining a date for something... It's unnecessary and bloat! Obviously everyone knows what the current year is, that's why the **actual** sane, superior, internationally standardized format is MM/DD/YYYY. If you're looking at any date you intuitively need to know what month and day the event or appointment is, with a confirmation of the year at the end. That's why the month first, followed by the day, ending with the year is the best format. This is also closest to the natural way you'd speak it... So I think that forever and always settles this nonsensical debate...

ISO 8601 date-time format (YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm) is the logical choice for any international (non-US) company / software! Please, please, enable it for all your service, priority for calendar and mail.

Most of the world do not use dates like usaians. And 24h time is fairly normal too, so normal that we learn it in school aged 4 or 5, and certainly don't call it "military time"!
I haven't started using the proton apps much yet but I'm surprised to see this suggestion on here, surprised because I wouldn't have expected this to be missing... -

Additionally, it would be really helpful to incorporate the option to input time in 24-hour format. For example, entering '2315' should automatically convert to '11:15 PM'. This feature is commonly available in most calendar apps and would be especially beneficial for those of us who are accustomed to military time. Source: http://fmwhsapp.com/

Date/time defaults as noted in other comments and 24 hour clock default would be a timesaver as well.

Also add the ability to post time in 24 format, so 2315 would become "11:15 PM". Some of us military people are used to entering times in this way. This is featured in most other calendar apps.

Have an option to display the default date but don't force everyone to use the same date.

I'd absolutely love the ability to stipulate time format as ISO.

In most of European countries we use 2024-00-00. Proton should add European style asap as European company, not US only

Yes please, the May 08 2024 stuff is so annoying and frustrating. I don't use dates like this in real life.
