  1. Longer Paid Plans - say 3 and 5 Years options

    Provide LONGER PAID PLANS, 3 and 5 years options would be nice.

    Pricing should of course be decreasing the longer the purchased plan.

    This reduces our exposure as customers to random pricing increase every 1 or 2 years, and Proton gets a nice and loyal captive paid membership base to who you can sell other services.

  2. Allow security key 2FA without setting up OTP 2FA

    I would greatly appreciate if you could allow users to set up 2-factor authentication using a U2F/FIDO2 security key, without also having to set up OTP-based 2FA.

  3. Proton SPAM

    Idea:
    To NOT spam advertisements to existing Unlimited PAYING CUSTOMERS through popups on your apps. I do not need to log in to my OS to be confronted with a popup advertisement for "Hey Upgrade to Duo for $$.$$ pcm" when Proton VPN starts, or have "Duo Upgrade" icons littered through the application. I only use the service for myself.

  5. Block Account Logins from Email Aliases

    You are currently able to log in to a Proton service using any of your email aliases. A user should have the option to disable account logins for anything other than their original account username.

  6. Show the Proton account creation date in the settings

    To mark the 10 years anniversary of Proton, many look back at when their accounts were created. Showing a simple "Account created on ...." on the Dashboard or Account section of the settings would be nice to keep the date in mind. Also that helps knowing when anniversary storage drops will fall! :D

  7. I would very much like to have My preferred icon rather than mere initials on My account.

    All other places I have been allowed Me to personalize the icon, but I see no way to upload an image to use, and would like very much for that to be an option.

  8. Unusual login notifications

    If somebody attempts to login to my account from an unusual location, I'd like to receive an email to a couple of email addresses: 1 my proton email; 2 an alternate email (e.g, gmail). Another alternative is receiving an SMS.

    Implement the option to choose which aliases are allowed to login in the Proton ecosystem. I mean the aliases that are created with Proton Mail, not with SimpleLogin.

  10. Provide a way to share my proton premium vpn subscription login without sharing my other proton services (mail, calendar, files, passwords,

    I bought premium and share with family but I don't want them to see my calendar which I use or my emails which I could use. I've been using the calendar on a free account, but it would be nice to have premium and I don't want to pay twice. ProtonVPN and other vpns allow multiple connections at once and often encourage sharing, but it's hard to share protonvpn if you have to share your emails too.

    it can be good to see storage usage, group by app, by folders for proton mail, by category in proton drive, by vault in proton pass, etc...

    maybe take some inspiration from https://apps.kde.org/fr/filelight/ or another tools dedicated to storage management

    The ability to swap the primary default used email under a user e.g in Joe he has joe@exp.com and moe@exp.com, Joe accidentally set his default email to what he had at the time moe@exp.com but now wants to use his new joe@exp.com, is it possible for Joe to change this

  13. Chat feature between protonmail accounts

    Would love to see a chat/messaging feature between protonmail accounts a la gmail or yahoo. For individuals who work in environments where cell usage is not available, messaging features are important communication devices for families.

  14. Implement passkey upgrade .wellknown for proton accounts

    This is separate from https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/48670034-automatic-passkey-upgrade as it's for proton to have this themself, rather than for proton pass to support such.
    The domains should be https://account.proton.me/ and https://account.protonvpn.com/

    This would allow easier setup of more secure proton accounts, and in the future when proton pass supports such, easier passkey setup in such for proton accounts themself.

  15. Paid plans should provide option to hide promotional ads

    Option to hide promotions / ads for proton. Would probably need to be a paid feature. For me the main appeal of protonmail is the lack of ads based on by my emails, lack of calendar events auto created based on my emails, and lack of ads in the interface. I consider the button that says "Get Proton Family" to be an ad.

  16. Allow transfer of primary admin role in Proton Family

    There are multiple reasons why a primary admin may wish to transfer that role to another email address. For example, the family's threat model has changed since initial configuration, and it has become necessary to segregate ownership of billing, file ownership, and passwords to a standalone admin account accessible only from home and not during travel. With this setup, the primary admin account could not be compromised during travel.

  17. Proton OAuth/OpenID/SAML so I can use Login with Proton in other sites

    I'd like to have a private version of Oatuh and potentially other authentication methods for 3rd party apps that authenticate/authorize with Proton.
    In my mind this service will allow me to, while authorizing the app, pick and choose the data I share, like email: email alias, name: a pass configured identity, and similar.

  18. Cheaper accounts for low end users.

    It is good to see Proton Duo, but it is too much and way too expensive for our needs.

    We are a retired couple with little use for large amounts of data storage, mainly used for financial and legal matters, and maybe a couple of email addresses.

    An account for two with maybe 100Gb (or less) of storage and a couple of email addresses each. Basic calender needs, VPN, basic Password manager (a bit up from the free version?)

  20. Allow disabling recovery phrase nag messages

    Allow a user to permanently dismiss the recovery phrase nag messages.

    The web interface keeps bothering me to set a recovery phrase but I do not want to set one because I am already using a password manager to store my password. I do not see any benefit of having a recovery phrase because any circumstance that would cause me to lose my password would also cause me to lose the recovery phrase.
