Stop Advertising Upgrades to Paying Customers
Stop advertising to paying customers to upgrade their Proton Pass. These UI elements are intrusive and disrupt users who have learned how to navigate the Proton Pass experience.
The UPGRADE button is bigger than the button for me to create a new entry, why do I see this when I already have a subscription?

Every few months I get another advert for a service I'm already paying for. I'm so ******* tired of it. Every. Single. Time.
I am not impressed or mollified that you have a "don't show this promotion" again option. I don't EVER want to see another duo prompt. Guess what, marketing team? I don't have a partner. I am not interested in having a partner. I do not ever intend to be the target demographic for duo. I am already paying for your services. Stop advertising to me.

Im very happy with offers, as long as not intrusive. If I see and add on top of my screen, noticeable but not flashy, once a month for a few days, I don't mind.

Seriously, this is destroying the user experience. First of all, if I opted out of your marketing communications, I expect it to be applicable across the board. I said I don't want your marketing emails, so what gave you the idea I want virus-style pop-ups? We have a word for what you are doing: it's called adware.
Even just from a UX standpoint, I open an application to use it, not to be sold something. I need to do something, and the first thing you do is make me close an ad. Even when I go to my settings in the apps, the first thing I see is ads instead of navigation or quick access.
If this were a free application, maybe I'd understand (though this is excessive, even compared to most free apps I've used), but that doesn't apply because I'm already giving you money and have for years.

Agree with this. If someone already pays for a plan, upgrade prompts inside the UI should be minimal or dismissible.
A one-time notice or occasional email would be fine, but persistent upgrade buttons in core areas of the app hurt the user experience. Paying users shouldn’t feel like they’re using an ad-supported product.

While we are at it, rename Unlimited to something else, because it isn't Unlimited at all.

Agreed - there is a critical lack of judgement and maturity at work at Proton when it comes
embedding commercial messaging or notifications messaging in high visibility areas of
product interfaces. Immature and pestering, really terrible choices. -

Agree on this ... maybe an occasional email is fine but a constant UI element asking me to change my plan is so intrusive.

I'm on the duo plan, yet still get adverts for the features and benefits of it. I'm already in it, please stop advertising a product I've already joined.

I will gladly pay for the Duo or the Family plan, when it makes sense for me. It reminds me of how YouTube is ALWAYS in your face about getting YouTube Premium, but the difference is that I am paying a lot for a Proton Unlimited already.

This. As I already pay you every month for this service, I don't want / need / or even will allow advertising in either the web or desktop apps. As Domi commented previously, send an email or something, but whoever thought this was acceptable needs to either retire or spend a couple years actually working with users again.

I agree on this. I don't need Duo or Family plan just for me - so please stop advertising it to me.

Adding to this, in the light of the current '50% off family' campaign. Feel free to e-mail us once with the deal, or display it in the apps once per user, or include an account-wide "do not display anymore" per campaign. But truly, every single time I open any of the five proton apps on each and any of my devices, my workflow is interrupted by a massive advertisement. It's affecting usability and borderline insulting.
