Integrate Standard Notes Premium plan with Proton Unlimited
Hopefully I'm not being greedy, but wouldn't it be possible to integrate the premium features of Standard Notes, which are absolutely brilliant, with Proton Unlimited? In my opinion, it feels appropriate now that SN is part of the Proton family, and, in fact, it already works that way in the case of SimpleLogin.

Pay per GB
Pay for EXACTLY the storage that you used in a month, instead of having to bump plans with *** GB increments - and serious price increases.
Proton uses limits to extract maximum consumer surplus and force new plans on people, when all they want is just more storage. This is just like commercial companies, and leaves a bad taste.
The better approach is to align consumer value and producer cost : pay for what you use, with a standard cost-plus premium. It's not how you make the most money, agreed - but it is how you build a loyal user…

Ability to modify billing dates
I want to have the option of changing the billing dates for future renewals: e.g. changing a biannual renewal from the 17th of August to the 1st of August. I have contacted Proton about this and it is not currently available nor in development.

Résultat, je suis prélevée d'une somme conséquente sans avoir pu prendre mes dispositions ni organiser mes dépenses. Il serait hautement souhaitable que vous préveniez du prochain prélèvement suffisamment à l'avance, un mois par exemple. Je ne comprends pas que cela ne soit pas prévu depuis le départ.

Warn user about adding a card payment option if they have ProtonVPN on
When user adds a card payment option, they are most likely redirected to their bank's web service to verify the action. Many banks have strict automated monitoring that may lock the card when an action seems suspicious.

There could be more cryptocurrency options
Users can already pay by Bitcoin. However Bitcoin isn't the most private nor cheapest cryptocurrency to use. I suggest Proton paid plans could be paid with other cryptocurrencies such as Monero, Litecoin, Etherium and Bitcoin Cash.

Allow Upgrade from MailPlus to the Proton Unlimited from Google Play
I subscribed to MailPlus and bought the 1 year subscription. Now I learn that there is a Proton Unlimited Plan, but since I bought the 1 year MailPlus, there is no option for me to Upgrade to 1 Year of Unlimited. I find the VPN to be very useful and want to use it on my PC and my Phone at the same time.

So my bank replaced my card, as they regularly do, but I can find NO place at all within the proton website to CHANGE my card. It's asking me to make a payment for my renewal, which I can't do because the card on file is no longer a valid card. It's 2024 and I can't CHANGE the card on file?

Add fine-grained tracking of account billing linked to user changes
For business users, currently changes in users result in changes in invoices / billing, however there's history to revisit showing "X user started on X date" to be able to reconcile history when managing multiple domains under one account.

Account renewal issues
I got an email from Proton to renew my account that included:
"Just log in at mail.proton.me, then go to Settings → Dashboard → Payment methods → Add payment method."
There is no "Payment Methods" entry in the menu.You have to guess which plan you currently have (I didn't remember), then go in and add a new credit card since it won't let you update the expiration date on the existing entry.
1. State clearly what the current account plan is

Add-on Proton Service (Customize Plan) not directly to Unlimited Plan
Need proton to allow me to customize plan as per my need. Currently, I have monthly subscription to Proton mail and I want to use Proton Pass but not Proton VPN. The only way to get another service (proton pass, in my case) with an existing service (proton mail, in my case) is by upgrading to Unlimited plan which cost USD 12.99 for a month (USD 10 per month for yearly plan effectively USD 120 for 12 months in one go) I don't have that lump sum money parked in my account. I sent three cancellation emails, had one consultation with a counselor about the cancellation, and received a confirmation of the cancellation.
