Integrate Standard Notes Premium plan with Proton Unlimited
Hopefully I'm not being greedy, but wouldn't it be possible to integrate the premium features of Standard Notes, which are absolutely brilliant, with Proton Unlimited? In my opinion, it feels appropriate now that SN is part of the Proton family, and, in fact, it already works that way in the case of SimpleLogin.

support long term users
All deals seem to be for new users. Proton should also offer discounts for users who have stuck with the company for multiple years.

Credits offers
When doing offers to capt new members (like 90% discounts first year or so) on Black Friday for example, why not do credit offers for the current members, like X% credit offer discounts?
That would be a kind move by Proton that would make feel the already enroled community feel better when you are doing all those great offers only for new members or to upgrade.
Sincerely, I feel myself ignored when you are doing those offers for new members while here its me paying the same price year after year...40 votes -

Pay per GB
Pay for EXACTLY the storage that you used in a month, instead of having to bump plans with *** GB increments - and serious price increases.
Proton uses limits to extract maximum consumer surplus and force new plans on people, when all they want is just more storage. This is just like commercial companies, and leaves a bad taste.
The better approach is to align consumer value and producer cost : pay for what you use, with a standard cost-plus premium. It's not how you make the most money, agreed - but it is how you build a loyal user…

Storage: 1 GB is not enough on the free plan, but as a pensioner I cannot afford expensive plans.
I would be happy for you to automatically delete all emails above my 1GB limit, so that is when my storage starts to fill up.
Can you do this? Keep my stored emails just below 1GB?I would like to stay with Proton, otherwise I have to go back to Gmail.

Appropriate fees should be determined specifically for countries with high inflation.
In countries with high inflation, paying with Dollars or Euros costs too much compared to the currency of that country. For such countries, special low fees must be determined and payment must be made in the local currency.

Suggestions for Billing and Payment Options
Dear ProtonMail Team,
I have two ideas that could make your service even more convenient for customers:
1. It would be very helpful if the billing date could be adjusted directly in the user dashboard.
2. Additionally, it would be desirable if personal accounts could also pay via direct debit, similar to what is currently available for business plans.Thank you for considering these suggestions.
Best regards

invoice email
I’d like to suggest a feature that would be really helpful for admins managing paid Proton accounts:
Currently, Proton doesn’t seem to send out monthly billing notification emails when an invoice is generated or a payment is processed. It also doesn’t include the invoice as a PDF attachment in any notification. This means admins have to manually log into the dashboard each month just to retrieve the invoice.
For those of us managing billing and accounting tasks, it would be a big improvement if Proton could:
Automatically send a billing email each month when a new invoice is issued.

Create an easy way to backup and delete emails from certain dates to save storage space
In the global cost of living crisis we need more help from companies trying to do good. many of us just can't afford to continually upgrade packages from storage getting filled up. At the same time, we don't want to be using unnecessary resources putting pressure on Proton. There already exists a backup/export process but it's not particularly user friendly and as far as I can tell there's no options, it's either all or nothing. I have 17.5GB of emails, I really don't need all of them saved, but there's no apparent way to just say sort emails over 3…

Pricing Adjustment Request - Turkish Market
Dear Proton Team,
Due to the severe inflation in Turkey, upgrading my account with Euro pricing is currently unaffordable.
I kindly request that you consider introducing Turkish Lira pricing for our market. This would significantly improve accessibility and allow more users in Turkey to subscribe to your valuable services.
Thank you for your prompt consideration.
Sincerely,
Erdem

Allow adding a second paypal payment method or updating/deleting current
I used my Paypal account to pay for my Proton account. I updated my Paypal credentials with anonymous login. I can not either change the Paypal credentials or delete the Paypal payment method. I have to add a card to allow me to change Paypal account. This is not ideal.
Please allow Paypal information update or add a second Paypal method.
Thank you.

multi user payment options
When you have multiple people in a family plan, allow each user to split the cost of the plan, but add a warning that if someone decides to stop paying, then the one who made the family plan, would be responsible for paying the full cost.

correct IGIC (local VAT) or VAT-free for Canary Islands
The Canary Islands are part of Spain, but not part of the EU VAT zone. Instead of VAT (IVA), the islands apply their own local indirect tax called IGIC – generally 7 %, and in many B2B cases 0 %.
This means that invoices issued to customers based in the Canary Islands must not include standard Spanish VAT. Depending on the business relationship, they should either apply IGIC or be issued without any VAT at all, following the special tax status of the islands.
Take into account that the reverse charge mechanism doesn't apply here. Canary Islands tax-Ds cannot be…1 vote
