Access the same custom domain from multiple Proton accounts
The case is simple. I'd like my wife to have a separate account in the same, custom domain registered in protonmail. You can't have it in the current setup, as multiple addresses can be setup only for one account (so they are more like aliases). Multiple accounts could count towards one storage or account number limits.
Thanks.
You can now have multiple users on the same custom domains. You can learn more here: https://protonmail.com/support/knowledge-base/paid-plans/ or https://protonmail.com/blog/encrypted-email-for-organizations/.

Side note, to go from 5 to 10 custom addresses it cost $.75 USD more per month.

Hi, I am currently dealing with this issue myself. So at the bare minimum you need to have a ProtonMail+ account. That gives you 5 "custom domain" addresses. Theses addresses, however, currently are only beneficial to use as aliases, because you can't set passwords for separate addresses. What you *could* do, and how I am stiching it together to work for now, is have your main account (the one registered as owning your domain) to take emails addressed to the addresses you've created and forward them to the user's email. This defeats the purpose of security though. It seems as if its just a matter of time before this gets changed, as it is an in between step after releasing aliases

This is exactly what I need as well. I have a Protonmail+ account so I can have up to 5 other addresses. Custom domain name addresses can be enabled and disabled to increase/decrease the amount of accounts you have remaining. However, if you create a protonmail "account" it currently does the same thing as creating an alias. Even though the sub account is an "account" there is no way to set a password on it and you can't login with it. Furthermore you can't delete it so that means 1 out of my 5 addresses I have paid for is a glorified alias that I didn't have to use up. Hopefully someday I'll be able to log onto it so it won't be a waste. Other than that aspect of it I absolutely love ProtonMail

This is exactly what I need as well. Currently I can create up to 5 new proton mail accounts (with the plus plan) and if there isn't a different login for those 5 accounts then they are no better than simply using aliases

I use host domain emails for customizing my own business. So I earlier gave others my email <contact@xxxxx.yy> and I just redirected emails sending to xxxxx.yy to my single account at protonmail. This is not sharing my protonmail account with other people, but just using a single service to receive from multiple email addresses.

Guys it makes NO sense to Host Domain Emails YET everyone must use the same Password. That is simply ridiculous. That completely Undermines security within anyones hosting their email services on Protonmail. You need to add a function that allows different emails for sites hosted. It just completely Undermines security by having one account and those emails can ONLY be used with that one account thereby meaning you must give everyone the password.

This is important for any type of organisation.

My wife would like an email account on the same domain that I am on, but she would like her own account/password.
For example::
Main account: husband@example.com
sub account 1: wife@example.com (with private login and password)
sub account 2: child@example.com (with private login and password, but controlled by main account) -

Gmail sells a business version of Gmail, where you can get mail for your domain. Can ProtonMail begin to do this? This would be great for the medical industry and anything that requires HIPAA compliance.

Please add domain features. I would love to use protonmail for SMB work. The layout is simple and beautiful, just what I need!

I have a domain name and I want to use ProtonMail on my domain name, and add as many users as I can who want to use ProtonMail on my domain name. Is it possible? Of course it must be free for the users, at least for a basic account.

Can we license backend cloud of protonmail to use with our company domain. This will give data security at enterprise level domain.

Yes please allow custom domains, please also allow the option to register the domain through proton mail itself. Increase in storage space will be highly appreciated. Newer more security features like support for yubikey is something I want to see in proton mail.

I'll loved to use PM with my custom domain ! For the moment I've created an account by didn't start using it because it request me to use a new email adress... Of course a fee to this kind of feature can be asked to users...

Do you have approximate plan, around what time custom domains will become available on protonmail?

I "second" the idea for e-mail hosting for small businesses with custom domains. Fee for service would be worth it.

Agree. This could be very useful. I could be the first to sing such services.
