Access the same custom domain from multiple Proton accounts
The case is simple. I'd like my wife to have a separate account in the same, custom domain registered in protonmail. You can't have it in the current setup, as multiple addresses can be setup only for one account (so they are more like aliases). Multiple accounts could count towards one storage or account number limits.
Thanks.
You can now have multiple users on the same custom domains. You can learn more here: https://protonmail.com/support/knowledge-base/paid-plans/ or https://protonmail.com/blog/encrypted-email-for-organizations/.

I chose ProtonMail as a mental health professional because sometimes clients are sending clinical or "PHI" over an email and need a response that also may have clinical info. in it so the encryption makes it HIPAA compliant. However, I upgraded my account so I could get a separate email address for my office manager to use for her conversations with clients re: their insurance, etc. but I assumed each email address of the 5 I upgraded to get would have their own password and mailbox password. I would know what passwords SHE set up because I own the business but the way it's set up now I have to give her my passwords just for her to be able to use an encrypted email. I love ProtonMail overall and I appreciate the free and then the reasonable cost upgrades but this is a crucial issue that would make it much more user friendly and meet the expectations most people have when they see they will get "5 addresses". Thank you.

When will I be able to add multiple users to my domain?

I did not realize this limitation when I upgraded my account to be able to use custom domains. Until this feature is available I am going to downgrade my account.

Yep, you need to add a "family plan" or something along those lines (ideally for about the same price as your other paid account options).
I'd like to be able to have my 5 additional "accounts" (really, they're aliases on a custom domain) be totally separate accounts, all managed from my master account.

When this is available, I'll throw down the credit card and switch my family over.

I would love to migrate my domain to protonmail and start paying for the service. But only if I can set up multiple, independent accounts for different users (family members in that case). ideally, one person (the one in control of the domain) is able to set up new accouts for that domain, but after setup they are independent of that person, especially they should have independent passwords and be non-accessable for the domain admin. Regarding the pricing plan, for me the best would be to pay one fee as domain owner, and allow say 5, or 10, 20, 100 people to have accounts with 1, 5, 10 or 20GB, depending on the price I pay.

I support this feature. I have a custom domain that is used by several family members. Each member has their own personal login credentials. Must have feature!

Look when you have a Domain it is ONLY Valid if users can all access their emails. Not a single account accessing all the emails. That in and of itself is poor security. So take Domain Addresses created by the master account and allow them to be Directly mapped BY the master account to another proton account. This way the users of said domain accounts can use them. You can have 50 Domains if you ONLY have 1 Master account and every USER must use that to send or receive emails that makes it all worthless. So allow verified email accounts that are protonmail already to accept redirected mapped Domain Addresses JUST like the master except they have no control ONLY access to use them. Master is still Master of them. Simple functional add on and NOT lacking security.

Yes it's also a very important feature to me, because I've separate accounts for my family members. I'll move to the premium account with my custom domain as soon as it's available.
