YubiKey support
The dedicated Protonmail community deserves a real response from the crack team of Protonmail scientists and engineers. When are you implementing Yubikey or are is your tag line just bs?

Why is this so difficult to add? Implementing YubiKey support with their library is dead simple.

Seems like Yubikey requests are falling on deaf ears at Proton. Why would I use Proton email and then allow Google authentication to track me? Am I missing something?

u2f with multiple keys would be a big boost

WebAuthn/UTF are really important features. Please get these features on the fast track. And as others said, please allow multiple tokens. Google requires two when using their advanced protection, so one is a backup in case the other is lost/stolen.

WebAuthn support (with multiple keys please) is really important. Please put this on a fast-track (but do it right, so not too fast).

If you add U2F support, please ensure users can have multiple keys. Some services limit users to just 1 or 2. It's not uncommon to have more, especially with some tablets and phones allowing the device itself to function as a U2F token for the built in browser.

You guys are great and do a good job.
With two exceptions.
There are *NUMEROUS* requests for two important core features: Nested folder (subfolders) and the use of Yubikey as 2FA.
Both features have for many many times been voted for, debated and discussed. Here. In Reddit. In other places. Most of the time the answer was: This is coming soon.
Now, to improve ProtonMail, it would be great if you would announce an ETA. A date when this will be available.
It sucks to come here every other month just to realize that two of the most important features have not yet been implemented.
Thanx.

"Soon" seems to be very relative perception...

This would make my life using ProtonMail a lot more convenient than pulling my authenticator app out every time I sign into the site.

4.0 Beta is now live and it doesn't include the u2F feature.
When is it going to be implemented and published? -

All my votes to this. Paying month to month while I try this out. This is a HUGE deal. Please implement ASAP.

I assume it's still waiting for everything to move to a single domain, as per this: https://twitter.com/ProtonMail/status/1126417134828097537

Definitely - although would prefer an open standard so any open source key such as Solo or Nitrokey can be used.

Now that the W3C standard is finalized i hope that we will see it implement in 2020.
