WHEN??? We are all waiting for ProtonMail not to be "evil" with our personal data - like so many before Yahoo, Inbox, Applemail, gmail... it is not a matter of security. Your security responsibilities end when the customer takes possession and chooses to download his creative material to his own vault. It is confidential, vital, and proprietary data that WE (the customers) create. And NO we don't want our data stored somewhere off on some Cloud. That's even worse.
I had over 4 years of data, photos, and contacts wiped out because Inbox.com suddenly announced they are done. No response to emails, phone calls, no support number, fake registered address.
Now I have a huge security risk not knowing where or how my personal data is being used. Emails of a family member who have passed away and left a lasting tribute are gone forever - because someone at Inbox decided to turn EVIL.
Why would you not allow us all to use our computers the way they were built - for convenience - not for trickery and greed - collecting private information about people's lives - and then lock it away as if it is now your property - all under this delusion of providing "security"? Cmon.
We all know whats going on here... if you can't be honest, fair, forthcoming, and responsive (your "team" post is nearly 2 yrs old), you will not survive. We are all sick and tired of companies built to steal peoples private information - and then limit access. When you do this we all start to mistrust each other and the world collapses.
"Don't Be Evil" was Google's battle cry - now look at them...looking at you through 10 different spy applications on iPads, Laptops, Cell Phones, GPS, Drones, and some dude somewhere off in a floating building more lavash than most country's net worth - claiming it's all for the common good.
Not allowing me to download my property to a local client like Thunderbird, or any number of Local Apps so I can store a back-up and better protect myself is a horrible initiative.
It trumps your "Swiss Security" mantra. Until then, you're, just like every other email service just a website bent on collecting personal information - like a pervert in the bushes outside my sister's window. You're not fooling anyone.

Yea... I won't lie. It would be pretty sweet.. honestly there are not many cloud services that protect privacy as strictly. I would drop every other cloud service in a heartbeat.

I'd pay for this :)

^ This.
Currently you can use draft emails for this but it's a very easy mistake to hit on Discard that's next to Save.
Hope fully easy to implement in the backend e.g. with drafts.

I'd like to see Proton add a cloud based storage option, with servers located in privacy sensitive jurisdictions, encryption performed client-side, no logging, secure algorithm. I'd triple play from Proton, Mail, VPN, Cloud. I'd pay $20 USD for that, three users for VPN, up to five addresses for email, and 20GB secure storage @ $20USD/month.

Could organizing tools similar to those on google (agenda, contacts, drive) be added to ProtonMail ? These are the tools that still get me hooked to google...

Please let me know when this is available. I would GLADLY PAY monthly fee to have this, NO PROBLEM, don't care about how much. Please make it happen. This is the best idea to have both cloud and a note system, like maybe even something similar to oneNote.

Evernote employees can now read all your messages. They just changed this privacy policy.
This can't come quick enough

https://turtlapp.com/ may be of interest for note taking. Free/open source, and encrypted too.

I will switch from Dropbox and GDrive immediately if you have cloud storage. And I will pay. I know many small businesses that will change. G Suite is great for non-sensitive documents. But for privacy and sensitive legal documents and important financial information I don't trust Google or Dropbox (or iCloud).

Until this comes, I use boxcryptor for end-to-end encryption of my google drive files. Both are free. So, a ProtonBox would be competing against that - so make it awesome, please.

google note is for me the best note app in the market at the moment. Sadly not secure. It would be nice if you could do that.
