Option to Change Date Format
I would like a way to change the date format to under English language (or any other) as the default is set to MM/DD/YYYY. Not all countries or individuals use this format.
Other formats I would like to see:
DD/MM/YYYY
DD.MM.YYYY
YYYY-MM-DD

it is quite embarrassing for a Swiss company to select the US date format and make it non-modifiable. None of us wants to read a date with the month first. At first I though the sheet would use my browser or system region but even with everything in French or UK English I still have the dates in MM/DD/YYYY. It's a no go to use Proton Sheets for me.

I support this. The current situation is very inconsistent, unfortunately.. The correct date format for my locale (DD/MM/YYYY) appears in many contexts, but a bunch of others - most notable some of the most important, including calendar reminder emails - use incorrect date and time formats.
As well as allowing users to choose date and time formats, Proton should ensure that these formats are applied consistently across all their products.
This is just basic functionality. Delivering products which use incorrect date formats feels as unprofessional as delivering products with spelling errors in them. -

This should be built-in as standard and not reliant on a high vote from forum users.

Honestly quite annoying that you can't change it. And it is possible because Dutch allows dd mm yyyy
