Synthetic Card creation (Privacy.com)
Integrating protected cards with Privacy.com or equivalent service would be great to see :).

An private and secure alternative to Google Wallet and Google Pay with NFC support on Android Phones would be great (and better if it works with Graphene OS what Google Pay doesn't do).

A concept of disposable credit cards for online purchase would be great!

We need something like this that works globally, not just US/Canada and not just in the EU/UK. Or, at least, in as many countries as possible.

So far we have the feature hide-my-email. That's a great feature but a feature I would like to see is something like a virtual payment cards like on privacy.com. I know they have the service over there but having my things under one account would be easier to manage and monitor. Being able to have a new card number generate would allow me to see what I'm spending and let me limit and budget.

If it is offered to customers outside US (like Europe) then it would be very usefull for preserving privacy online for many of us, as all the companies that do something similar only work in US and maybe Canada. If it is offered only for US customers it would basically be worthless, as many services like that already exist (privacy.com, ironvest.com, cloaked.com, etc).

If this could me offered as a service outside of the US then yes, please commit resources to this idea. whether you choose to integrate with existing services or create your own. the idea of a synthetic card with an alias would be such a major privacy improvement

I am very keen on the „people do it well, don’t reinvent the wheel“ thing, so I loved seeing SimpleLogin integration and I am looking forward to StandardNotes integration as well.
But please, don’t include privacy.com and call it a day. They only serve the US (+ ??). Basically you miss out on 7 billion potential customers and go against all the reasons for supporting a privacy first NON-US company.

Integration with existing card services would be ideal. Although if proton did offer this service themselves I would use it.

Already exists from multiple providers (mysudo.com and privacy.com for two), no need for Proton to do it.

Hello, aliases for credit cards (or virtual credit cards) would be useful, in the same way that email aliases can be set and deleted.

I would much prefer Proton just integrate Privacy.com instead of building their own service for it. For one, I already have tons of cards that I need to keep from Privacy.com, also Privacy.com has a ton of financial stuff they had to do to make it a reality, and I'm not sure Proton is equipped for that kind of work. Privacy.com works well, lets just work with their service, and allow cards to be tied to specific logins in your vault.

I would love this. I was checking out privacy.com recently but would totally use a proton version.

It would be nice to create virtual cards but also disposable cards (similar to what Revolut offers) so that the card number is invalidated after one purchase.
Furthermore, as part of the Proton Pass service (where we can store card numbers), this could be a built-in feature!

I'm all for this, I was going to make the same suggestion but came across this. It would be nice to see this integrated into Proton Pass.
