Docs
Reasonably proton docs is still missing a lot of features. Some improvements I've noticed it needs while using it are a page printer view, spacing variability, format memory (when starting a new line font and text size revert to default), precision font variability, better spacing with indented checkboxes, and an easy and elegant UI for viewing already created docs

+1, also the ability to open a second window to see the text unformatted would be quite handy. but overall it should be possible to disable it at all by switching from .md to rich text or, text. or smthng like dis, idk.

Some small'ish changes to the docs, with things I haven't seen suggested yet, and a couple personally important features that have been suggested already...
- A "Clear Formatting" hotkey for [Ctrl + Spacebar] that works to clear formatting from the spot you are at, even if no text is selected, aka if I haven't typed anything and I have the formatting settings of: Bold + Red-color selected, then [ctrl + space] would reset everything into the default, black color, unformatted, basic type of text. Whether it would also clear fonts back into the basic Arial could be a settings/docs preferences option...
- Possibility to change/choose our own hotkey setups, perhaps in some kind of preferences settings page..?
- Custom line spacing (I neeeed my 1.15 line spaces fr fr)
- Stop automatically changing my hyphen bullet points into those • bullets (or make it a setting in some "docs preferences" settings or something). I use hyphen bullet points more than any other type...
- Freely adjustable color options, like if I want a specific block of text to be the exact #4C5D8A hue of grey then it'd be nice to be able to do that.
- Maybe the auto-save feature doesn't need to literally save every time I write as much as a single character. Maybe it could go off at like.. few second or even ten second intervals, or it could autosave depending on what is actually added like if it's a picture then it could save at every new image added, but if it's text it could wait those few seconds OR
- The docs autosave loading-circle animation could be more "hidden" overall, since for me, the fact that there is a constant loading-circle animation going on at the edge of my vision while I'm writing can be very distracting.IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE MOBILE VERSION, like.. I cannot quickly write things down on the proton drive-docs mobile version because the lines being written go UNDER the phone's keyboard-UI-block, and makes it so that I need like half a page's worth of line-spaces at the bottom of the docs I'm working on in order to see what I'm actually writing. I don't know if anyone else has this problem though.
You have made some really good services here. I already bought the upgraded Drive membership thing and now I'm just waiting for those few crucial adjustments to be made before switching over from google docs completely. Keep up the good work 👍

I want to see this and I want to see the table of contents feature that Google Docs has.

I'd also like to see the ability to insert characters (like em and en dashes) and thin spaces and such.

Improvements to Proton Docs would allow me to be able to switch to Proton almost exclusively, which would be amazing! Here's some things I'd love to see in Docs:
- See the borders of my documents (maybe an on-off toggle switch)
- Ability to adjust margins and print settings before writing
- Improved tables/grids/graphs
- Custom line spacing
- More font options or the ability to import fonts
- Export Proton Docs to .docx or .pdf, and the ability to convert these file types into Proton and edit them as Proton Docs (like Google Docs does).
- Offline useIf Proton Docs could get on the same level as Microsoft Word or Google Drive in terms of word processing and custom features, I could finally leave those other platforms behind. Would love updates about features and planned feature improvements, too!

There are many basic features missing from Proton Docs in order to make it functional, so that people can create professional looking documents. Failing these basic features it's effectively just another Notepad. We don't need yet another one of those! We need an online collaborative document tool that's comparable to programs like Word and Google Docs. With the acquisition of Standard Notes, I'm surprised to see that Proton Docs isn't integrated or functioning more like their Super Notes. Some of the features are partially implemented, but so limited that again you can't create professional looking documents.
Some basic features Proton Docs needs:
- line spacing
- styles that can be customized
- headers and footers
- ability to specify fonts
- ability to embed fonts
- reasonable selection of fonts
- full selection of colors
- ability to properly format tables (borders, background, text - including full selection of colors)
- import documents and retain formatting
