Unfortunately the "auto update" in the Windows Desktop Apps does not work properly, very often I have to do the update the a never version manually.
I expect to have in all Proton desktop apps (e.g. "Maii", "Mail Bridge", "Pass") the same functionality as availabe in "Pass": in "Proton Pass" the is an option "Über" which displays the actual installed version and reliably checks for an available update!

This should be implemented or have the ability to check for updates and see the change log or what's new.

Interesting, I have the same problem. Other users say they would like to be able to disable the automatic update, or at least have an option to get a notification when an update is available.

Proton Pass wird unter Windwos 11 bei mir nicht immer automatisch auf die aktuellste Version aktualisiert. Gerade musste ich wieder mühsam v1.30.1 manuell herunterladen und installieren. Es wäre gut wenn man zum einen die aktuell installierte Version in der App schneller sehen könnte, als auch eine manuelle Prüfung auf neuere Versionen in der App möglich wäre.

It would be nice if there were an option in the settings to automatically update the Proton Drive client for Windows, so that updates would happen silently and not require me to click a button every time.
