Proton Drive full-text search
As it is already possible in Google Drive I would like to be able to search for keywords inside my Drive documents (OCR scan, docs, sheets etc.). Once this funtionality is enabled count me and my family in.

Full‑text search and rich previews: the productivity boost Proton Drive needs
I’d like to suggest a significant improvement to Proton Drive, which would make a real difference for anyone who works with lots of documents: the ability to perform a full-text search within files, rather than just on file names.
Currently, Proton Drive’s search function mainly finds files based on their titles, but in professional contexts (e.g. law firms, tax firms, engineering firms) it is essential to be able to search for keywords directly within the content of documents (PDFs, Office documents, text files, etc.). This would allow users to quickly retrieve contracts, legal opinions, reports or attachments without having to remember exactly how the files were named.
The idea would be to introduce a search engine that indexes file content in a way compatible with Proton’s privacy-first philosophy (for example, via local indexing or encrypted indexes), so as to maintain end-to-end protection whilst offering a feature essential for the intensive use of Proton Drive in a professional setting.
In addition to full-text search, it would also be very useful to have a more comprehensive preview system directly within Proton Drive (at least for PDFs, text documents, images and the most common formats), so that users can quickly check the file’s content without having to download it or open it in an external app.
I believe these two features (full-text search and advanced preview) would make Proton Drive much more competitive compared to other cloud storage services and would

It is mind blowing that you can't search within the drive on iOS. It is weird. Such a basic feature missing... why?

lack of full text search is why I have left proton drive and still stick with Google drive.
Happy message to the developers: I have read several times comments that this would be not possible or difficult to do because of encryption. I can happily tell you, that Evernote has full encryption and has content search, including OCR search. As they did it, it can be done ! :-)
