Location sharing with family, friends, groups
Google maps and Apply Find My allow sharing my location with family for friends. I like feature but not the tracking by big tech.
Being able to privately share my location similar to Apple Find My will help include my partner, children, friends.
This is helpful for emergency situations or to coordinate activities. Also consider an optional, temporary geofence to let us know when someone has arrived or departed near us.

This would be great! Outside of iOS, there are no viable options to share location outside of big tech solutions like Google, Snapchat, and Life360. If you are not on social media, it is extremely difficult to move outside of Google Maps. Please make this happen!

Also please allow us to track our own phone or devices and be able follow them on our account without sharing tracking with others.

I feel like its really hard to find a good app to do this that I don't have to self host, and it doesn't seem to exist. So this feels like a real opportunity for Proton. Idk why there aren't more upvotes for this. Its a great idea!
