Allow photo album sharing via link on Proton Drive
Currently, it's not possible to share a photo album via link, although it is possible with files.
This is quite disappointing, especially since my main use of the drive is to share photos with my family, and sharing via email is cumbersome and unintuitive for the elderly who will receive the invitation.

Looking for "Public link sharing" to switch my photo albums to the PAYED 200 GB individual user option of Proton Drive.
Sharing a simple link for accessing photo albums is critical for me. -

This is basic functionality that has already been promised and needs attention.
The "How to share and manage albums in Proton Drive" help article at https://proton.me/support/drive-album-share-manage has said "Public link sharing is coming soon" for quite some time now.
Presently, in order to create a share link for an album of photos, a user needs to:
1. Download the photos from Photos
2. Re-upload the photos to a folder in My Files
3. Create a share link for the new folder in My Files, which simply duplicates content that was already in Photos.I have marked this as Critical because it's such an obviously needed core feature in Drive.

This is such a bad product management decision, I use it as an example of how to make sure that your product doesn't grow: be worse than a well-known product and offer nothing better in the relevant parts of the UX. Then do not implement sharing and collaboration. It's a recipe for low adoption and disappointed early adopters.

Yes. It's so weird that this is missing just for the photo albums.
