Why This Matters
I split my time between South Africa and the UK, operating fully remotely across highly regulated, global sectors. As a neurodivergent consultant working across time zones, both security-conscious infrastructure and streamlined functionality are critical.
Professionals like me are piecing together tools like Devyce (for UK VoIP numbers), Postmark (for SMTP relay), Revolut (for global eSIMs), and Proton (for everything else)—but we’d far prefer a unified privacy-first solution. With Proton’s infrastructure, reputation, and mission, you are uniquely positioned to deliver exactly that.
The global freelancer economy is growing rapidly, and so is the number of privacy-conscious individuals working across borders. I hope you’ll consider this roadmap as a natural evolution of the Proton ecosystem.
Thank you for considering this feature and for everything you’ve already built. I’m genuinely grateful to have Proton at the heart of my digital infrastructure.

This feature request highlights a strong demand for a unified, privacy-first communication ecosystem, building naturally on Proton’s existing suite of Mail, Calendar, Drive, VPN, and password management tools. By introducing a Proton-managed eSIM with global or regional data plans alongside secure VoIP numbers, Proton could significantly simplify how internationally mobile professionals handle connectivity, authentication, and business communications. A consolidated dashboard for email, calls, SMS, voicemail transcription, and encrypted voice services would reduce reliance on fragmented third-party tools while reinforcing Proton’s core mission of security and privacy. For users who already rely on external solutions to stay connected across borders, services similar to an eSIM offering like https://usasim.net/esim-usa/ demonstrate how seamless, location-independent mobile data can be, further underscoring the value of integrating such capabilities directly into the Proton ecosystem for digital nomads, consultants, and remote-first professionals worldwide.
