I would like to advise Proton to think long and hard about the setup of this forum
As a European Proton customer I would like to advice Proton to think long and hard about the setup of this forum.
I just had sign away the storing of my name, ip adress and other things just to provide feedback to Proton.
And I had to gain access to the forum through Facebook or Google.
Really, in this day and age?!?
Thanks a lot for raising an idea on Uservoice. This is a platform for feature requests and functionality changes to Proton's products.
As this is out of the scope of this, it has been declined.

Hi, can you make uservoice more secure against tracking.

I'm surprised Proton includes Facebook / google log-in as an option – but it IS only an option. You can log in using email, including an alias.

I'm also simply appalled at the setup, using Google and meta?! I had effectively degoogled my life and the only forum or place I use my Google account is...Proton-related. I love you but that's gross.

Please not decline for reasons of formality. Forward the idea then, or point me in the right direction. The feedback process for Proton is a maze; it is very hard to find the right place to communicate. I spent quite a while jumping from matrix, to discord, creating users, to this forum. Just to help the community out.
