As a proton user I want a reliable encrypted automated cloud backup solution that offers versioning of files and folders (and possibly a complete image) of my personally device (e.g. MacBook) so that I have a reliable and secure offsite disaster recovery option and ability to restore accidentally deleted files or recover from ransomeware.

The reality for home users there are really only 3 options (none of which are any good): carbonite, Backblaze and Idrive. Proton drive is nice but it is a sync solution and not true disaster recovery solution. It also does not necessarily offer enough storage.so it would be great if Proton could expand its current product family to include a truly secure online disaster recovery solution for devices. Preferably with fine grain control as to what gets backed up and for how long version history of backups is maintained
