Feature request: Make automated receipts identifiable and searchable >>>
I receive generic automated receipt emails that contain no email-specific information, such as the original message’s subject, a reference, or a unique message identifier, so I can’t reliably tell which sent email each receipt acknowledges. Any possible link in the receipt’s encryption or technical metadata isn’t visible or usable to me. - Ideally, Proton Mail would make it possible to associate a receipt with the exact sent email that triggered it, using a clear, verifiable identifier. As a secondary feature, please provide an in-app search or matching tool that finds likely sent-email/receipt pairs using recipient, subject, and timestamps, including when the receipt arrives later.
