Prioritize security and retention of experienced employees over "speed"
Like most people, I switched to Proton because I do NOT want to be part of the whole tech bro eco system. I want reliable, safe, stable and private mail and password services. I don't want shiny new features that nobody needs. I don't want AI to draft my documents, write my code, build my webpages - and I MOST DEFINITELY don't want it to write the code to my mail and password services!
As a senior software engineer, I know quite well how much damage AI currently does to the code base of any company using it. So shove your marketing speak up that cushioned behind and listen to those with the "loser mentality" when they tell you that, no, additional "speed" is NOT worth losing the very identity of your company over.
If this continues (and that last X post shows it probably will - since you don't seem to understand the criticism, AT ALL), like many others I'll just move on. To an even less "feature rich" alternative, because here's the hard truth: No flashy feature will EVER be a viable replacement for trust. And you're losing trust. FAST.
