Could not find Secure texting from Proton so using Signal even though I would have rather used a Proton based secure text since I am using already Protonmail and VPN. Bundle the 3 together for a cool price?

It would be great if ProtonMail had a messenger that could connect to all of the open code messengers (Signal, WhatsApp, etc) and deliver end to end encryption and HIPAA compliance, where the security works no matter which open-source code was being used on either end.

Signal is your answer, we don't need another messaging service. The more services there is, the less chance the people you want to talk too will be on yours.

Agree with all them that write that exist Threema, but ProtonMail should do fusion with Threema for a better chat platform, maybe with elliptic curve keys and integrating ProtonVPN for a better "security".
