    This is really important, as the Bridge is very unreliable and doesn't sync contacts or calendar. Under Review for almost 2 years doesn't fill me with much hope though

    Yen's personal comments, and Protons mishandling of the response is worrying. It does raise some concerns about the direction and underlying trust the offering is built on.

    I have been concerned about his leadership since they started wasting their energies on crypto wallets and AI cruft when the core products themselves still have so many issues.

    I don't know if Yen deserves to be replaced, but I would like to see Proton show (rather than talk about) how they're going to move forward with both products and the re-establishing trust

    the MS Authenticator issue a number of people have mentioned is the biggest issue for me, but there are some others I'd like to ignore

    while I love the idea, Amazon struggle to make Alexa actually useful. Even Google Assistant/Gemini or Siri have very limited functionality.
    Maybe in the future when LLMs are more reliable and less resource intensive there's a place for this, but I'd prefer to see the current Proton Suite and things like SimpleLogin and Standard Notes get polished first

    Proton have the opportunity to create a remarkable calendar experience for iPadOS. Apple Calendar feature parity is a must, but there are opportunities to actually create a compelling calendar, task, and to-do experience as part of the Proton platform (especially with Standard Notes part of the family now)
