Auto find and remove duplicates
Please add the ability to delete similar logins & passwords for the same site (that are stored mainly because of importing data from several browsers & password managers).

I've resorted to exporting to a .CSV in excel and then finding duplicate entries then sorting further to find the duplicates. This feature will need to have multiple sort options similar to an excel spread sheet so you can sort by colum title because some login information is the same but one part is different ie different websites they don't exactly match

This is only useful when it asks the permission to delete, just not auto delete

Even a little fix for this minor conundrum would give an even sharper edge to this app then the other competition I say!

yes! I completely agree!. it would be very nice to have a duplicate login finder and a way to merge logins!

This should be the priority of 1st January 2025!

Yes, the feature of merging different accounts, keeping all the Websites addresses autofill would be great. Especially with a duplicates detection followed by a manual merge confirmation step.

Yes, I have a lot of duplicate entries from going Firefox Lockwise->Bitwarden->Proton Pass.
On reddit, as an example, I have the same credentials stored for "reddit.com" and "old.reddit.com".
Please make a walk-through type of experience to go through the passwords one by one. An entirely automated process could lead to false positives.

+1 for the ability to manage duplicates...
Proton team - once I have the ability to create all of these aliases and passwords, I need ways to manage them continually. This is super important for me !

Even the ability to merge duplicates would be great.

The "Pass Monitor" in the web interface helpfully tells me I have 145 duplicate passwords, but when I look at them, they're actually duplicate *entries* for the same web site, often with minor variations (account.proton.me, mail.protonmail.com, etc. etc.)
The duplicates warning is useless if I can't make it go away by merging these, and there are way too many to handle manually.

This is very important. I accidentally imported some items twice. Manually removing over 100 duplicates is annoying.

I agree with Evil Spider - definitely need to be able to review prior to deletion. Additionally, a merge option would work also since each credential can have multiple sites - - if the password is the same then merge, otherwise review for deletion.

Identify and review instead of direct remove would be great

Yes, this is crucial, but as noted it would need a merge/review function so you know what you are getting rid of.

Just as good. As long as I can review the passwords.
Because some sites (esp. financial) requires the user to change password every few months, the app need to ask which is the latest.

I would also say, allow for merging. When merging, any fields that overlap, create a field that says "{field name} {number of added duplicate}"
