Implement Lumo Sidebar in Docs/Sheets (On-Demand Local Decryption) & Launch Proton Slides
Feature Request:
Integrate Proton Lumo as an active sidebar inside Proton Docs and Sheets using the same secure architecture already utilized for Lumo document uploads. Additionally, expand the workspace ecosystem by launching "Proton Slides" with the same integrated AI capabilities. How the Lumo Integration Should Work (Maintaining E2EE):
Zero-Knowledge Architecture: The AI does not read the document in real-time. Instead, the document remains locally decrypted inside the user's browser/app session.
On-Demand Processing: Only when the user explicitly triggers an action in the Lumo sidebar (e.g., clicking "Analyze this document" or "Generate summary"), the locally decrypted text is sent via the…

An immersive simulator game to test our passwords, recovery phrases, 2FA, and other account recovery methods.
It's very common to forget our passwords, with a high chance of never recovering our accounts. I've never lost mine yet, but to help us memorize them, I propose:
In this immersive game, you are locked in a room. Throughout the game, you use your passwords and recovery phrases to escape the room, and of course, everything would be encrypted to use your passwords and phrases.

Proton PGP Keys signing & verifying all *nix/Windows/Android/iPhone apps. I think users should be able to verify their download.
Many other applications are signed and verified by their makers. Proton should have PGP keys referenced on their website, that sign and verify the applications for download are legitimate and verifiably Proton Products. Think Veracrypt/TAILS/Linux Mint. All those those OSes & software have PGP keys that you can check, in order to make sure what you're downloading is from who it says its from. If I'm using PGP keys within Proton to sign my email for this same purpose; I think Proton should also use these same keys to verify/sign its own products.
Thanks.

Proton RCS Phone Carrier Messaging Service
RCS is an "upgrade" to SMS/MMS messaging with read receipts, typing indicators, the ability to send larger files, and encryption. Proton can implement end-to-end encryption for this service, similar to many others. No other company could pull off a service like this like Proton could.
I'd also love to see a feature that allows users to sync their messages to their desktop, similar to Google Messages.

A Proton-made e2ee Notion-like application that integrates well with Lumo and other Proton products (calendar, email)
I enjoy using Proton's products and would be interested in a second-brain application that works well with other Proton products. Something students, hobbyists, and companies could use to store their ideas, create databases, and compile images/videos. It could be included in the already existing Proton-subscription or as a standalone product.

Keyboard shortcuts in Proton Sheets
Hello, Proton Team,
I know the keyboard shortcuts is a thing that Proton Docs already has, I believe this would be a great idea to have in Proton Sheets too, simply because it rises user's productivity, or says working speed.
And... if possible, I personally prefer Microsoft Excel's design. But maybe there are some more people prefer other services' design. I'm not sure. Maybe this could be discussing more or held a poll ? Anyway, even if don't take any reference from the existed app, it will be fine still, as long as the shortcut design is user-friendly.
Sincerely,

Support for Storing and Using NFC Cards in Proton Pass Mobile App
Proton Pass currently focuses on passwords, identities, and secure notes, but it does not support NFC cards, which are widely used for physical access control and transportation systems.
I propose adding a feature that allows users to scan, store, and emulate NFC cards directly from the Proton Pass mobile app, making it possible to access secure areas (e.g., server rooms) or use public transportation cards without carrying the physical card.
This functionality would improve convenience and security, especially for professionals who manage multiple access cards or users who want an all-in-one digital wallet integrated with Proton Pass.

Publish Android apps to Zapstore (Nostr based app store)
Would be nice to see Proton publish their apps directly to the Nostr based Zapstore (https://zapstore.dev/). It would allow for all the apps to be published on the store, currently there are just the ones released on github.
It's great for people who want to use GrapheneOS. It would allow for quick publishing of beta apps as there is no cumbersome and long app review process.
Currently the apps that are available on github are on zapstore. It would be nice to see Proton use their current Nostr account to officially sign and release the apps on the…

New Product: Proton Translate
Online and in-person translation is an intimate and private affair, which shouldn't be collected by large companies such as Google and Microsoft, which are the leading translation services. Proton should offer a private alternative that enables users to translate phrases, words, and their screen so they can best communicate, breaking down language barriers in a safe and secure setting. Additional features would include conversation mode and starring favorite words/phrases. Making a better internet starts with ensuring we can fully understand each other, no matter the language.

Allow to test recovery phrase
I suggest that users can test if they saved the recovery phrase correctly. (Currently, the only option is to create a new phrase.)
Two cases where this might be helpful come to my mind:
- To check if a recovery phrase written down years ago is still the correct one. (I write recovery phrases on a paper and then usually never need them. After some years it is easily possible that paper notes get mixed up or that one is not sure about a certain character)
- To test the written down phrase immediately after creating and writing down a new one.…

Privacy-first local media compression & conversion tool (Photos & Videos)
I would like to propose a privacy-first media compression and conversion tool that runs entirely on local devices (PC and smartphones), without uploading any photos or videos to external servers.
Description:
This application would allow users to safely compress and convert images and videos directly on their own devices.
By leveraging human visual perception–aware compression methods, media files can be significantly reduced in size while preserving visual quality and original resolution (pixel dimensions).Users could optionally convert media into next-generation formats such as AVIF, JPEG XL, or AV1, choosing between compatibility-focused or efficiency-focused options.
All processing would be performed locally,…6 votes -
Copy Google Workspace
Simply copy all functionalities from Google Workspace while preserving privacy. The way their tools work smoothly and are interconnected is inspiring. Companies need a fully integrated ecosystem, and GWS achieves this perfectly. If you want to be their competitor, just adopt those functionalities.
