  2. Quantumcomputer Encryption [SECURITY THREAT]

    "SAVE NOW, DECRYPT LATER" is a big threat to all of our data and it's affecting us already.

    Considering Proton is at the frontier of online security and the relatively new announcements of NISTs Quantum Encryption methods, I would suggest you look into applicability of those methods to your services.

  3. Suggest the following calendar improvements: Search function and the option to make appointments different colours

    Have been a Google Calendar user for a number of years and just switched to Proton Calendar. Proton Calendar surprised me as it is very smooth to use but it feels a bit naked without a calendar search function and different colours for appointments.
    The calendar becomes even more useful business tool if you can search it for customer details and a multiple colour option for commitments would enable fast recognition of important at a glance.
    Will miss these features from Google Calendar.

  4. Google Workspace Parity Roadmap

    As Proton is trying to compete with Google in a number of areas, it would be really nice to not only have a public roadmap of what features Proton is working on, but a feature comparison of existing Proton services (Calendar, Drive, Mail, etc.) to their Google counterparts with a roadmap of what features Proton is working to add (and indication of features Proton has no plan to add).

  5. Personally I would like to enable a function where you can view attachments in protonmail before sending the mail

    Personally I would like to have a function where you can view attachments in protonmail before sending the mail, this of cause to ensure you have attached the correct file, photo or document to your mail. As it is today I have not found a function where this is possible.
    Just a thought I think many users would appreciate. Regards

    I love having an encrypted email option, but the protonmail client layout is frustratingly nonintuitive. The fact that you can't look at just a single message and see the attachments with it makes it easy to overlook unexpected attachments and hard to find what you're looking for. Once there's a thread, finding what you're looking for can become a frustrating, time-consuming task where you're clicking back and forth between collapsed items and eventually losing your place and having to go back to the mailbox view and start again from the top.   9. Batch download PDF attachments from multiple emails onto Windows desktop for sending in Gmail or can be auto merged into one big PDF

    Dear Proton Community,

    This is for Proton Mail.

    I need this for tax lodging.

    As I get my investment emails sent to my Proton Mail address and there are a lot every year and I am searching them out using a date range then moving then to a folder for easier management.

    Then I would like to select all in that folder and batch download or extract the PDF attachments onto Windows desktop for sending in Gmail or if it can in the extraction process auto merge into one big PDF that would really help.

    I would like to be able to send files (either individual or batch-selected) from the Proton Drive UI to other applications.

    For example: Google Drive's UI allows one to select one or more files and send them as attached files in a Discord chat.

    Create a proton application so that it is possible to view and control security devices such as cameras, sensors and alarms, other IOT devices and home automation with the proton differential of security and privacy, and that it is possible to share the view, control and access to these devices with other proton users, this hypothetical app would have integration with Proton VPN to facilitate integration and connection (perhaps eliminating the use of DDNS) and Proton Drive to storage data, footage and other files or media generated by the integrated devices.

    This isn't really a feature request, it's more or less a technical improvment.

    In order to execute automatic tests suite, proton web products are exposing data-test-* attributes on the generated HTML.

    This is totally useless for the end user, and it contributes to larger file size in the end.

    Depending on the bundling solution the tech team is using, it should be easy to remove automatically during deployment process.

  18. Hide folders, selectively, when they contain no messages

    There are some folders that are really used to group/place messages for a short period of time — hence, their nature aren't quite static as the rest.

    I think it would be great to have a way to hide them, as long as they contain no messages. Candidates for this category are Spam, Drafts, and Archive — but users do create their own, so it's really hard to tell.

    Regardless, this should help to unclutter the interface in case there are too many folders.

  19. Contacts App for Personal CRM

    I love privacy focused services like Proton, but the reality is that I am social in real life and require software to manage how I network. Personal CRM tools such as Covve are incredibly useful because it doesn't rely on using privacy invading social network platforms. It would be amazing if Proton offered to use my contacts as a personal CRM so I can take notes on my personal interactions and schedule reminders to follow up with people.
