A physical cell phone made ethically with ProtonOS- NOT a version of Android with the Proton name slapped onto it. Lead the way with the duopoly alternative!
tldr has everything we want out of a cell phone but made by Proton cuz you’re privacy based and we love yall.

Version History and check for update feature
I tried to find out if my Proton Desktop app is up to date and found it incredibly hard to find any information about it. A support site where every Proton app is listed and then for each platform of the product, a version history with release notes would be very helpful. Additionally, a check for update feature in every app would be great too. Proton drives does this very well already and I wish this features universally for all products.

Single Linux yum repo for all Proton apps
Right now the Proton VPN can be installed from a Linux yum repo. For example: https://repo.protonvpn.com/fedora-42-stable/
This is great, because to update it, all I have to do is run "sudo dnf update", and if there is a new version of Proton VPN available, it gets updated.However, all the other Proton Linux apps (Pass, Authenticator, and the Mail beta) get installed by individual rpm downloads. Which means, if I want to update them, I have to download each rpm individually and re-install it to get the upgrade.

Shared calendar with notifications
It would be great if there were a shared calendar (e.g., "family") that notified all users of the calendar whenever somebody made a change, addition, or deletion. For example, if I added an appointment to the family calendar, all the other family members would be notified that I added something. Or if a family member changed an appointment, I would receive a notification that the appointment had been changed & by whom.

Let us use Proton as a login option on third-party websites (OAuth/SSO)
Right now, most websites let you sign in with Google, Facebook, GitHub, or Microsoft. Sure, it's convenient, but these companies literally track everything you do across the web.
I think Proton should offer something similar - a "Sign in with Proton" button that works like those other options, but actually respects our privacy. It would use standard OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, so any developer could easily integrate it.
Why this would be awesome:
No tracking or data mining from Big Tech companies
Fits perfectly with Proton's privacy mission

Proton Mail: "Select All Mails" button missing in search results, only available in Inbox, Folders and Categories
When viewing the Inbox or any custom folder/category, selecting a single email reveals the "Select All Mails" button, which works as expected and allows bulk actions on all displayed emails.
However, when performing a search and selecting an email, the "Select All Mails" button is missing or limited to selecting only the first batch of results (the exact number depends on the user's "Conversations per page" setting, e.g., 50, 100, or 200).

Proton should purchase “Magic Earth” and convert it into Proton Maps, an open source high-quality maps app
Magic Earth seems to be the best alternative available right now to Apple and Google Maps. The problem? It’s not open source and its privacy claims are not independently verified. Proton should consider offering to buy out the small company behind it, convert the app to Proton Maps, make it open source, and run an independent security audit on it.
The UI design in Magic Earth is already pretty similar to Proton branding anyways. Easy win if Proton can afford it.

Adding images to Proton Docs (and a dedicated application pls)
Hi! new (paying) proton member here.
In addition to needing a decidated Docs application and many more features (like spacing etc.), it is super difficult to add images to Docs. I tried uploading a 4mb jpeg and it almost crashed my browser and the quality was heaviliy downgraded. The last update on Docs was a sidenote in this blog (https://proton.me/blog/2026-spring-summer-roadmaps). I'm sure we can all use another update! I would like to know where the development of the Proton Docs applcation is headed because for now I will keep on using LibreOffice.

Proton Forms- a privacy-focused form builder
I would really love to see Proton Forms as a new service in the Proton ecosystem. Proton already has Mail, Drive, Docs and Sheets, so I think a privacy focused form builder would be a really nice addition. It could be used for surveys, questionnaires, registrations and feedback forms, w-ith responses stored securely and easy to view and manage. I think a privacy focused alternative to Google Forms would be really useful for people who want to collect information without relying on Google or other advertising focused platforms.

LaTex rendering in Lumo
When using Lumo in my web browser (both Firefox and Librewolf) LaTex does not render properly. For example, Lumo returned the following:

instead of the actual LaTex rendering.
It would be nice if you could have Lumo actually render this.

Slideshow in Proton Drive - Photos
As a user, I would like to have a slideshow feature in order to play a short movie of my souvenirs of certain event.
It would be available in each album as a button next to {Add photos, download, share}, but also as an appearing button when several photos are selected.
When clicking, a small panel will appear with some default options checked and a button “launch slideshow”. The options would be about the duration of each photo, the transition effect and others (I would avoid cringe/elevators music though).
