Android Device encryption and protection
I think it would be a game changer if proton would get in more involved with Android devices. Android is after all as they claim allegedly open source.. but Google it is let me have all your data and we will do this for you?? The biggest thing Google claims to be able to encrypt your entire device from your Google account in their password manager section of security. Why not be able to encrypt it by the best proton?? Full device encryption???? More integration into the Android ecosystem. or even something similar to Graphene OS?? If proton were ever…

PC Encryption Similar To MS BitLocker
It would be helpful to be able to encrypt PC hard drives using Proton encryption rather than using MS BitLocker.
It would also be useful to be able to encrypt individual files using Proton so they can be sent via P2P without the need to store the information online.

Proton Rumble channel to mirror YouTube
Proton should create an official Rumble channel and upload its YouTube videos there as well.
Over the past several years, Rumble has established itself as a YouTube alternative that is solidly pro-freedom, anti-censorship, and NOT OWNED BY GOOGLE!
It might be necessary to be on YouTube to attract the most eyeballs, but many people who use platforms like Rumble to distance themselves from Big Tech are the same users who will resonate with Proton's privacy-conscious mission.
The amount of extra effort it takes to upload content to a 2nd platform is miniscule compared to the time and expense invested in…

Create Virtual Hosting Services
Would it be in the pipe line to create and offer basic Virtualization service or go into partnership with someone like Digital ocean where we could spin up simple Linux boxes to act as a jump box. (For those with Proton subscriptions)

Encryption keys
Would it be possible to implement a function for re-encryption with a new key, both for email keys and the account key?
Also, one more thing – it would be great to have the option to reinitialize Proton Drive or Lumo AI directly from the settings. Currently, changing keys requires contacting support, which could be avoided with this feature.

Adding Arc Browser to Proton’s Privacy-Focused Portfolio
The Arc Browser represents an ideal complement to the Proton ecosystem due to its strong commitment to privacy, security, and innovative user experience design. Built on a Chromium foundation yet differentiated by its privacy-first approach, Arc disables intrusive telemetry and fingerprinting by default, ensuring that user data remains protected and browsing habits uncompromised. The browser incorporates built-in ad and tracker blocking functionality without requiring complex configurations, further reinforcing its dedication to safeguarding user privacy.
Arc’s unique features, such as its vertical sidebar and workspace management system called "Spaces," enhance productivity and efficiency by providing superior tab organization and intuitive navigation.…

To-do list
Create a to-do list app similar to todoist. With reminders and linked to our Proton agenda. That'd be really a killer app. You want to protect privacy. Can you imagine the private data companies get out of personal todolists? They know so many things we do!

CLI Apps for integrations / automations
One big drawback of using proton instead of a big tech alternative (or nextcloud) is the lack of integration with third party services for automation or productivity.
I get that being E2E, it is complicated to make such integration through webhooks. But having CLI apps as a bridge could help (just like the App for proton mail bridge, but for all the proton services (at least mail, drive, docs, calendar).
It should be easier to integrate proton into any workflow with automation platform like n8n etc...

Virtualization like QubesOS DVMs--to protect the masses from the impending AI Spear-Phishing Swarms (Heiding et al., 2025).
Recent research shows with a little development, modern LLMs can be used to fully automate spear-phishing campaigns-- from reconnaissance to email and evaluation.
These atracks work as well as human hacking experts with 54% success.
This also makes it way more profitable.
Average non-QubesOS users need virtualization like disposable VMs in QubesOS.

Add option to disable blinking eyes of Lumo cat
Lumo is great new thing, but I find the constant blinking of the cat's eyes on the mobilemapp to be distracting. It would be great if there was an option to turn off all moving images and other distracting items. This would make the application better accessible for most. Thank you for considering this feedback!

Add filtering and sorting options to protonapps.com
As the number of Proton services and platforms increases, protonapps.com becomes more difficult to navigate. It’d be useful to have some filtering and sorting options for protonapps.com to quickly find the right app for the desired platform. For example:
Platform Filter: Android (APK, F-Droid, Play Store, etc), iOS/iPadOS, Linux, macOS, Onion/Tor, Web, Windows
App Filter: Authenticator, Calendar, Docs, Drive, Lumo, Mail, Meet, Pass, VPN, Wallet, etc
Version Filter: Production, Beta
Sort By: App Name, Platform, Recently Updated

Add Support for Storing and Using Digital Certificates in Proton Pass
Currently, Proton Pass allows storing credentials, notes, and files, but does not provide a way to store and use digital certificates for authentication or signing.
I propose adding a feature that enables users to securely store their digital certificates in Proton Pass and use them directly without installing them on the operating system or browser.
This would be extremely useful when working on shared or untrusted devices, where installing certificates locally is not safe or practical. It would also improve security and portability for users who rely on certificates for identity verification or encrypted communications.

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for Drive, Pass, and wherever applicable
RBAC would be useful for personal accounts (i.e. families) but particularly for businesses in which role assignments are standard management and security practice. I'm not sure what the most user-friendly way is to handle the CRUDing of roles or similar operations, however, I think it should be possible to smoothly integrate this in the current experience.

Crowdsource funding for Proton Spreadsheet. I (and others) would give $100 right now.
A spreadsheet is the only thing keep google customers from infusing cash to Proton. This is a business error. Instead of only votes, create crowdfunded initiatives. I would give $100 immediately (I'm poor) to fund this initiative. Voting is nice, crowdsourced money to do a job that you know takes x amount of hours. No brainer.

Sign in with Proton/SSO
Email aliases are just hard to use in that you need to open Proton Pass (not Proton Mail!?) app to create one, then go back to the website that timed out, log in and then remember to save your password.
Sign in with Proton could have an easier way to sign in with passkeys and just be more convenient with the option to share only an alias
For a proof of concept sign in screen: Proton Drive https://drive.proton.me/urls/RP90G3XFZC#zuQBZlNJyUTv
