add settings option for plaintext in secure notes (disable both markdown and smart text interpretation)
Allow option to disable markdown and disable smart interpretation of text in secure notes. When I go to copy a line of numbers, Proton Pass treats it as a phone contact, and forces displaying a popup for creating a new contact. I simply need to be able to copy a given number or text from a secure note, without smart interpretation features interfering. I end up copying the entire secure note contents, and paste it into a separate text editing app; from there I am able to select the number I need, copy it, and paste it where I need…

Criticality indicator on the pass item header level with Filter and Sort possibility
With the increase of items in the 'Vaults/All Items'. It is getting very difficult to recall the criticality of the items incase not used for a long duration. I tried the Pin functionality as well but after many items addition, this functionality also don't help.
So the request is to include a 'Criticality Indicator(Critical, High, Medium, Low)' to the line items in the Vaults as well as in general item with possibility to filter and sort. This indicator should be easily visible from the dashboard itself.

Clear search box when changing category
When changing categories, the search box should be cleared. Or, we would like to have the option to do so.
Typical scenario:
Let's say you use Proton Pass to log in to a site, and then enter your credit card information on the same site. you open Proton Pass and change to the card category. You open Proton Pass and change to the card category, but nothing is shown for your credit card information because the search box is not cleared. You have to clear the search box once.3 votes -

Move to a different vault - dismiss confirmation popup by pressing Enter
Currently, when you move an item to another vault and get the message 'Move 1 item to ... - Moving an item to another vault will erase its history - Confirm - Cancel' message, it would be great if you could confirm by pressing Enter (or another keyboard shortcut) rather than having to actually click the button. This would speed up bulk moving.

Make 'Display name' an optional global setting for aliases
If I don't set a Display Name, then recipients of emails sent from aliases just see your name as SiteName RandomStringOfCharacters, like "UserVoice 9o3yih"
I can currently set a display name manually on each alias by editing it, but a global setting would be nice.

Save Account Information to access desktop app
The main purpose of a password manager is to remember your logins so you only have to remember one password. Having to remember your account name and (hopefully) a secure master password every time you login is counter intuitive. It would be too tempting to short the main account password to make it more convenient but it puts all of your proton accounts at risk. The extra password feature negates the need to enter account information while protecting your other proton services.

Additional Item Export-Import Metadata for Identification and Trackability
This additional idea comes from my experience reimporting a whole Pass dataset, hoping it would replace existing items and update them.
Each item should have additional metadata, such as an import ID and import date-time, perhaps the date-time could be encoded into the import ID. The way this would work is, that at the time of import, an auto-generated import ID would be created for any and all of the imported items, so that multiple items, being part of a package, imported in bulk simultaneously, would share the same import ID and date-time of import.

Just like secure links or vault sharing.
This will be very efficient for mobile proton pass users because all they have to do is to scan to get your shared data.

More Auto-Lock Options: Custom Timeout and Lock on Windows Session Lock
I'm using Proton Pass through the Firefox extension and the Windows desktop app.
Currently, the Auto-Lock feature only offers predefined timeouts: 1, 2, 5, 10 minutes, or 1 hour.
I'd like to suggest two improvements:
- Custom Auto-Lock Timeout
Allow users to define their own timeout instead of being limited to predefined values.
For example, 15, 20, or 30 minutes/hours.
- Automatically Lock Proton Pass When Windows Is Locked
Add an option to automatically lock Proton Pass whenever the Windows session is locked (Win + L or automatic Windows session lock).

Show additional information: Password/Passphrase by chosen real character length e.g. (30)
Problem:
some accounts have a character limitation e.g. 32 characters.
- If you create a new password with 30 characters, all fine.
- If you create a new password with 40 characters, it will not be accepted. Error. You have to reduce and/or count manually each character.Solution:

Preserve sharing when moving items between vaults or folders
Currently, moving a shared password or other item to another vault or folder removes all existing shares. Everyone loses access, and I have to manually share the item again with each person.
Please preserve existing shares when moving items. This is especially frustrating with the new folder feature, which encourages reorganizing items but makes doing so unnecessarily painful when they're shared.

Move Folders
Currently it's not possible to move folders.
I would like to be able to move folders with subfolders and all there children to other vauls or folders. Ideally via drag and drop like it is already possible for single entities.2 votes -
Allow for longer lock timeouts in the Chrome extension
Right now, the longest lock timeout is 1 hour. During my workday, I'm very often needing to unlock the extension that I used not that long ago (but apparently more than 1 hour ago). I'd love to be able to configure a 4 hour lock timeout (+ auto-lock on system sleep / shutdown).
My scenario is also compounded because I use multiple browser profiles to segregate my personal browsing from various types of paid work. I'll be actively working in one profile, and then switch to another profile to handle something quickly and find that Proton Pass has locked itself.

Combiner les adresses "Hide-my-email" et les "Identifiants"
Salut la communauté Proton !
Quand vous créez un compte, vous devez :
- Créer une adresse Hide-my-email.
- Créer un identifiant.
Cela crée deux objets distincts pour un seul compte. Lorsque vous possédez une centaine de comptes, cela devient vite le bazar.
Je propose donc d’ajouter la possibilité de glisser-déposer une adresse Hide-my-email dans un identifiant existant, lorsque l’adresse e-mail correspond à celle renseignée dans l’identifiant.
L’objectif est de regrouper les deux objets en un seul, afin de centraliser toutes les informations d’un même compte et de simplifier leur gestion :)

Make Folders Available for Free
I was very excited to learn that Folders were in development due to Vaults being locked for Proton Pass paid plans. It is extremely disappointing that Folders are also locked behind a paywall. I already pay for Mail Plus, and it is not financially feasible nor practical to pay nearly double for Pass for only one feature. It should have been announced from the beginning that Folders were going to be paywalled. Please consider making at least 5 or 10 Folders for free (unlike the the 2 free Vaults which is pretty much useless when the Home counts as one).

Restrict the selection of special characters in passwords
There are websites that do not allow all special characters in passwords, but only certain ones. So far, in Proton Pass, I can only enable or disable special characters entirely. It would be helpful if the password generator also offered the option to restrict the selection to specific special characters (e.g. those copied from a website).
