Manually linking apps
For whatever reasons sometimes Proton Pass doesn't allow auto-fill in some mobile apps (and I have to go to Proton Pass, look for the login for that app, copy, go back to the app, paste, go back to Proton Pass for the password, copy...). Is it possible to make an option to manually link the apps with specific logins/passwords as well as you did with web addresses?
Thank you

Currently, Proton Pass autofill and passkey features work primarily in web browsers, but do not integrate well with mobile apps or many desktop applications.
I propose improving the integration so that autofill and passkeys work seamlessly across any app, similar to how Samsung Pass or other system-level password managers operate.
For example:
On mobile, when logging into apps like Discord or email clients, users should be able to autofill both passwords and 2FA codes without leaving the app.
Passkey support should also work natively in apps, avoiding the need to manually copy credentials from Proton Pass every time.
This feature would significantly improve convenience and security, reducing friction for users who rely on Proton Pass for all their authentication needs.

I totally get this! I face the same issue when managing modded apps like Instagram Pro APK mod download versions. Manual linking would save a ton of time. Especially with non-standard apps, switching between Proton Pass and the app itself gets tiring. Would love to see this feature added! Visit :https://instagproapk.com/

Manually linking apps can be super useful when auto-integration doesn’t cut it. It gives you full control over how apps communicate, ensuring smoother workflows and fewer errors. Whether you're managing data, syncing tools, or customizing features, manual linking is a smart move for better app performance and flexibility.

Yeah, I’ve run into this issue too, and it can be a bit annoying having to switch back and forth just to copy login details. A manual linking option for apps, like how web addresses are handled, would be super useful. Reminds me of when I was signing into an app like https://instaapk.net/ had to do the whole copy-paste routine. Hope they add this feature soon!

Manually linking apps sounds like a practical feature for better control over app management. For those interested in exploring APK solutions, check out this site: https://instpro.net/gb-instagram/.

This is really the big piece missing outside of browsers

Yes please.
As example, Bitwarden have this by allowing custom input field on url for both links and apps, ie https://website.tld for actual links and androidapp://app.package.name for apps.
I'm surprised this basic option aren't available on Proton Pass.

This is really important
When logging in to an app that wasn't linked before, I must be able to link an app to the login info so next time it will be autofilled.
Or even link manually through adding a URI of the app (like Bitwarden does). Please implement this. -

Really lacking this feature since I have already signed in many apps and have to re-login to link the app.

Agree, we need similar logic as what 1Password has, which allows you to link app to selected logins, which simplifies future logins.
