Yes system startup is essential imo. As a neurodivergent I forget to turn it on and just end up having a general hard time. Make it an option tho, not a default.

This is something I am also missing dearly since I moved away from Bitwarden.

Please revisit this request. Yesterday I switched to Proton Pass from Bitwarden, and this is something I'm missing.

Currently have to startop PASS desktop and enter password, which of course is TOO hard to remember.

I am a Linux Mint user and I am missing this exact feature. Minimized startup in system tray. The same goes for the Linux desktop mail app too.

Currently, using mostly web plugin because faster to use, but I'd like to be able to launch the desktop app quicker (maybe could be possible to start it up with system ? )
Also would be interested to be able to export all passwords, for backup in some Keepass type apps

Same issue on Mac, the desktop app should start with only the system tray icon, or at least there should be an option for this. It now starts with the main window open when I boot my Mac which is annoying.

Why doesn't proton pass launch in the background when mac starts up? If you set it up to start up from the setting in new version of mac os then the entire window lauches.

I would like to see this feature on Linux as well
